What a night, what a morning, still trying to teach little gingers to lap although tiny bit of progress made, have stated litter training too with tiny results. Little girl peed and pooped everywhere, she simply had no idea her bed was soaked and covered in poop and litter tray was spotless, all offending poop was put in tray and she has just had a good scrat around in there.
Pudding decided to start feeling unwell so Rob rushed her to vets this morning, she has been xrayed, jabbed with all sorts and given calcium supplements, vet wants to see her again monday but says her kittens are all fine.
Bottle feds making good progress.
This morning some lovely person sent us a snugglesafe heat pad off Amazon wishlist, thankyou who ever you are

Teresa, I can't be there to help, or hug. I wish I could .

You can't help the whole world, much as you'd like to. If you take on any more now, you'll make yourself ill again, and then no-one gets the benefit.  :sad no:

He's right, you need to draw a line in the sand. Saying No never feels right, but you need to be fair to the babies already in your care, and yourself.

Pace yourself, find strength in the results you're acheiving. You are amazing, but with the greatest respect, please don't ruin yourself by taking on any more.  :tired:

It's payday, have sent a bit for the kids, to help out.  :)

Well the last 2 new arrivals were in a bad way,5 weeksish, one badly dehydrated, been working on them and improvement seen,no sign of sneezing etc but one has a noisy lung so being careful. They are ginger and ginger and white, think I may call them Sonny and Jimbo.
The other one a little girl just like Pimlico but with some white bits she is very fluffy, has a huge wormy belly but very little weight. Will let you know her name later.

Meanwhile I am in big big trouble and can no longer answer my phone because I cant keep up saying No, I refused so many cats and kittens today I have cried until I cant cry anymore.

I wanted Pudding's black boy to be called Black pudding was over-ruled on the grounds of political incorrectness.  :naughty: When I argued my way out of that one I was informed that black pudding is not sweet and kittens are, so Figgy pudding he is.  :evillaugh:

I met Piri and Teze for the first time and they're absolutely gorgeous - my kinda gals.  I tried to get a more flattering picture of Piri because she looks grumpy in the one we've got and she's anything but, she's a little purrpot.  However, she looks even more grumpy on my attempts.

Girl = Treacle Pudding
Ginger Boy = Ginger Pudding
Tabby boy = Toffee Pudding
Black boy = Figgy Pudding
yes with those ladies around I fear for my sanity

I would fear for my waistline  :evillaugh:

Sheila I never mix litters, afraid I am a stickler for isolation. We only know that mum cat was possible wild and had disappeared, close inspection of kittens on arrival revealed empty tummies so definately no mum.
Forgot the pictures

meant to say the black looking one lay across the front is the only girl, she has tabby belly and points but elsewhere is blackish

Any chance of Pudding lending a spare teat to one of Fuscia's "Rainbow" Orphans? I never quite know, never having raised a litter myself, if I'm being daft or not (usually am though)  What happened to their poor Mum, T ?  :(

Meanwhile, I'll have a chat with the banker (OH) on payday and see if I can squeeze him for a few quid to help with the formula.  :shify:

You keep that sofa under close observation, mind, and sending much strength to the wonderful Debbie, too.

Teresa. Sit down, relax, close your eyes, breathe deeply and repeat slowly after me...

I do not want six teats. I do not want six teats. I do not want six teats.

Now, when I count to three and click my fingers you'll open your eyes and be back in the room.

1,2,3 click.

Sheila I`ve just realised you are as mad as me,  actually 5 teats is plenty.

Teresa - sending a big hug for you.

The new babies are beautiful - a motley little crew, and all gorgeous.  Pleased that Carol is having to hang on to the five she has a little longer, because otherwise she'd be out weeding those block paviours of hers, and that's not half so much fun.  ;)

Much love to all at The Inn today, and a special thought for Fuschia.

The babies will take a day or two to get used to the "feel" of me, I am actually feeding them with a 2ml syringe,we give them the bottle to practice on after they have had 2ml, 3 tabbies are almost identical one day I promise to treat myself to specsavers  I will admit to finding it tough on the old bones but I am useful again.
Puddings babies have been up to mischief already ,Rob went outside and heard a squealing and yes youve guessed one little black had managed to get out of the nest and couldnt find his way back in.
Helen Piri and Teze are in for spay on wednesday and Pimlico in for vaccinations, hopefully some homes must come soon as we are more than overloaded and today I had to check that poor Carol could cope with the kittens she kidnapped because there is no room, in truth I think Carol is treasuring every minute with them.
Usually asleep at this late hour ,how on earth do I stay awake

Thought I would say hello to everyone.  After reading the posts for months and months Teresa has given me the push I needed to post myself.  I am the Poop Queen Debbie.  Fuchsia has showered us with 9 yes 9 blessings today.  We have new mum Pudding and her 1 black boy, 1 black girl, 1 tabby boy & a ginger boy.

I've just spoken to Teresa and she did tell me the colours of Pudding's kittens but I'm afraid that in the shock of her other news I've forgetten.  :innocent: Paws Inn has just taken delivery of 5 orphan kittens, estimated age around 6 days.     That will mean hourly bottle-feeding.  :tired:   Sending you much needed strength T and lots of positive vibes for the little 'uns.

Come to think of it I do remember that one of Pudding's babies is a ginger.  :Luv2:

You don't get much time to grieve in rescue do you?  Fuchsia obviously doesn't do rainbows, she does kittens.   :shify:

She had the most wonderful life with you and all at Paws Inn and lived to a wonderful age under the care of Aunty T and now joins the other Paws Inn Residents at the Bridge one of the lucky ones who will be loved and mourned for being Fuschia not just a feral

Fuchsia had another heart attack just before 11am. Debbie and I took her to the vet and she was peacefully PTS. Vet records show she was in fact just over 20 year. She will be missed but I feel good that she led such a long and happy life and will always look back and think of her with happiness. I could not have managed to get Fuchsia to the vets without such sterling help from Debbie who is just wonderful.

Nice to see you back Aunty T and not being covered in kitten gloop and poop so nice of Carol to take charge of them and then you get 2 special little girls to take their place but at least they aren't covered in the aforementioned stuff ;D

I do hope Fushia will pull through and know how special those feral gals are and she has been part of the furniture for so long
