Thank you for this. I had been looking at Faith earlier on today - but was thinking that Phoebe could not have got to Orpington under her own steam - still you never know - I'm still thinking that someone may have taken her and perhaps dumped her. I have emailed the farm with Phoebe's details and photos and asked for more info on Faith.

Hi

Don't know how far away Orpington is from where you are but there is a 4 ish yr old female black cat at Foal Farm who was found as a stray in Orpington...  Scroll down to the very bottom - Faith.

Sorry if it's not her but thought it was worth a look.

Sorry to hear Phoebe is still missing ... but at least people are still looking and possible sightings are coming though.

Sending lots of positive vibes that she will be found soon xxxxx

Still looking for my little one. A new lead on Friday evening took us to another area in our village. A lady rang us to say that her friend had seen a black cat in her garden which was not one of the regulars - also she said that the regulars  did not come into her garden as she has a dog. Had a look around this area and met Puddypaws - she lives in the row of houses that we were looking around - such a lovely lady. We had no luck in find Phoebe and will be back out today taking the grand tour in search of our furry little one.

Hello everyone. Still no sign of my furry little one. Been back to area my neighbour thought he saw her - no cats in sight. Talked to walkers on the path, gave out posters and put up loads of new posters. Come home little one.

thank you. That field is enormous - so much to cover - we have spent days and days going over it. My mum has even been out walking around there. We back on to it as well and it was Phoebe's hunting ground with her pals from next door - she never went far though - even when we went for walks on it - she would only come so far and then stop. Blackcat and shadow had a good walk round it at the weekend - we did see a tabby cat up by the fort - never seen it before. I have finally got a local rag to put in an advert (only lineage) for free and I'm thinking of asking them to do a piece on stray/abandoned/homeless kitties - to highlight the upset and stress it causes and what can be done to try and find your kitty or find a kitty's owner - I'll let you know what they say.

Sorry hun.  I've been looking and OH keeps his eyes open on dog walks but the ones we see are local ones and we know where they come from.  I promise we will keep looking.  I've also asked my daughter to keep her eyes open because she backs on to the farm field you searched.

A Phoebe update. We got home at about 2.30am and did not have any sighting - it was raining hard so if it is her down there she probably would be sheltering. Been back again today around the same time our neighbour thought he saw her - not a cat in sight. Also ventured to the other site that some dog walkers had mentioned to us - but not a cat in sight.  I am so down again today - going back out later tonight. I just want a positive sighting.

I was the Same when My Hamish had His second Adventure " Chasing B/W cat's through Peoples Back Yards "
I remember I had about Five Houses in a Row with the People coming out asking WTF was I doing ??
But they were more than understanding once I explained.. and even Helped !!
I Never realized there was so Much Black & White Cat's in the area, Till Hamish Went Missing
One guy I worked with was a taxi driver and He said He seen a B/W cat sitting by the side of the road
between Fraserburgh and sandhaven, about a mile and a half from my house, That night I walked all the way
to sandhaven and Back Shouting His Name and Rattling the Biscuit's (no sign of Him :( ) I feel for You cause
when our furbabes Disappear, You kinda Go through Stages of Grief with not Knowing where they are :'(
3 week's later Hamish came Back by Himself, a scratch on the nose and one on the ear and visable weight loss
He was Real Glad to Be Home ;D

It Is Good that People a reporting Sighting's of Phoebe, It Probably is Her, and She's still in the Area. It's Just
a Matter Of Luck and Timing, And Who Know's? She may come home by Herself too

Keeping my finger's crossed that you will be Posting Good News on Here Soon

My neighbour's eyes are probably fresher than mine at the mo - believe me I'm running up to every black cat I see. As previously mentioned we had been tracking a cat for 2 weeks in our village which we were so convinced was ours - this same neighbour also saw this cat and kept saying no its not her. Keeping everything crossed. I visited the RSPCA in Leybourne today as I could not get a human to answer the phone - She is not there - they do have my letter on file and assure me that I will be contacted if she comes in. I also prized a number out of them where I can get a human. I did have a look around the cat pens and left there in floods of tears - so many young cats and kittens that had been abandoned, dumped and bought in as strays - all so loving - where are these irresponsible people they make me mad. Of course I met a special little fella there, the spit of my Phoebe when she was a kitty, I would love to give him a home not to replace Phoebe - just because I can and I want to. Phoebe is use to other cats in the house as she shared it with our Whiskers for 4 years before he sadly died.

cats cover an amazing amount of ground. You would be surprised just how far they travel when we are not looking - especially if they get a fright. Hope it is your wee girl, and an ID by the neighbour is certainly encouraging.

Great news, is the neighbour definite that it was her?  Would he recognise her over another black cat?  Have got absolutely everything crossed that it is her and that she is home safe and sound ASAP

Whilst out looking in this area we met a dog walker who told us about a black cat that her dog walking crowd have seen regularly in an area of land opposite the priestfields entrance (not the canopus end), again its seems a bit far for her to wander, but we going to have a look tomorrow morning as this is when the dog walkers have seen this cat. It's all go here - just want her back

Our neighbour told us this afternoon that he had seen her on his way home from work this lunchtime. It's quite a stretch from our house - down at the bottom of shorts way where it bends into the esplanade there is an opening  to a track that leads into the bottom of the village by the marina - still a trek from our place (think that puddypaws will know where I'm on about). He had seen her siting by the entrance to this footpath - he said that he even took a second look  - wish he had got out of his car. Funny enough we had been down that way this afternoon putting up new posters and walking this path not knowing any of this. We of course went back down there and had a good look around shaking our biscuit box - thought we could hear some kitty sounds - not too sure. Again, we met some really nice people, and one guy took our poster to put in his house window as he lives in the village near the footpath. We are off back down there later tonight/in the wee hours.  I just want her home. Will keep you all posted

Hi, I have contacted a cattery that is RSPCA in Strood in Sycamore Road by phone and letter - they are linked to the local RSPCA center in walderslade who I have also contacted by phone and letter. They do get a call from me each week. If this is not the one you are thinking of let me know details. Thanks

I'm off to visit them tomorrow - I have been phoning them for near on 3 weeks now and it doesn't matter which option you select - you still get an unhelpful message that then hangs up. I did write to them with her photo and description and I have to say that the RSPCA are none too helpful. Each week when I call their national helpline for an update - they never have my details registered and I have to go through it all again - lets hope that this doesn't let too many animals slip through the net.

Does anyone know how to get the RSCPA at Leybourne to answer the phone? - all they have is recorded messages - I'm probably going to have to visit them.

Please do or they could rehome her!
Good luck, i hope you find her soon :luck:

A Phoebe Update for everyone. Firstly a very big thank you to blackcat and shadow the doggie for spending their afternoon with me searching for Phoebe. We walked and called in all her favourite places and did a complete tour of the area. NO PHOEBE. I am beginning to think that some has now picked her up and taken her home - I know people may do this with good intentions - but I wish they wouldn't. I am renewing my posters today as someone has decided it would be fun to rip them and widening my search. I also spend my Monday's ringing all the vets, rescue homes, council etc for an update. Does anyone know how to get the RSCPA at Leybourne to answer the phone? - all they have is recorded messages - I'm probably going to have to visit them.

Again, a great big THANK YOU to blackcat for coming over to help me and giving me support. :thanks:

thank you puddypaws. We do walk that path most days and have seen 2 suspects. the owner was identified of one of them and the second one we saw yesterday was in a garden down the alley but just looked too big for her. Please keep looking and let me know if you see anything.  I have posted leaflets in both of the St Johns ways up there and now intending to do mount road and the st matthews drive - not too sure if they are too far afield - but you never know.

Just a thought Chatnoir - the path that runs from the Canopus to Sidney road - when I'm walking the dog I often see cats (mostly black) around there.  If you need any help with your search pm me.
