Thanks, he's a fiesty little chappy  :evillaugh: he now knows where all the rooms are and does not like any doors closed!  he scrats to go through them then scrats to come back in.  He loves to just sit in the garden and came and sat on my knee outside the other day  :wow:.  I emailed Lauren and Josie an update and attached some photos and Lauren said oh, he's putting you in your place is he I thought it wouldn't take long.  He really does know what he wants and tells you in no uncertain terms, considering he's deaf and blind he is very determined little fella  :Luv: I have to book for his thyroid bloods taking this week and hopefully he can have that dental.

Great, thanks for asking, still a bit hissy but not much it just tends to be when Pepper gets a bit too close.  He is exploring the house more now he went into the little bedroom the other day and when I looked he was stretched out fast asleep on the ottoman  :Luv:  A few photos of Pep in the garden....

Glad things are going so well.
Instore do sell the Classic trays, but they aren't as good as the tins - they are actually a pate style and contain cereal, which the tins dont. Sam loved it though, but i only bought one tray just in case, so will have to go again soon for some more

;D yep, he's been out most of this afternoon with us and he's flaked out now!  :evillaugh: he was in a small area in a flat for a few months before he came to us so I think he's loving it.  He's also gaining more confidence he's sat in the lounge now along with Byron they're still a bit hissy on and off but nothing much now  :)

Thanks DM and Bazsmum

He's doing so well, there has been no hissing between them both this morning  :wow: and yesterday I felt so sorry for him sat in the hall so I picked him up and took him outside.  I let him have a little walk in the garden (supervised of course) he walks so slowly so it's no problem, just like having a toddler steering him around.  He seemed so happy sniffing the air and walking on the grass, it was lovely and sunny and I think he really enjoyed it :)

Thanks, I am learning so much from him, he susses everything out all the time.  Although I've had deaf and blind cats Pepper's is the most severe.  The hoover is a nightmare he must feel the vibrations and doesn't like it but you can't move him he gets very angry which is understandable because he loses his bearings the best I can do is take him to a familiar spot.

Aw bless, as you know Janey it is really early days so for that they are doing fab! Hissing is normal and Im sure as you say its probably fear related with Byron....Once she knows that Pepper is no threat Im sure they will be just fine and he will start to suss the place out fully!  :Luv:

Give them cuties a head rub from me would you dear!  ;)

Well since Byron's thwack at Pepper on Sunday he preferred to stay in the kitchen and hall and started to hiss at me on and off yesterday, I think he could smell her - he was certainly aware of her so must realize her smell now.  Meanwhile Byron stopped hissing at him! so the aggression is just fear, I'm watching them closely and doing all the things to help ease the situation.  This morning they have actually eaten just a foot apart both a few hisses and that's been it, Pep seems happier and Byron too.  To say he's only been here 3 days I'm really pleased with them both,  I would love Pepper to move around more but I think t may take a while and I won't force the issue, he certainly tells you if you do something he dislikes and you can't move him because he gets disorientated.  I've brushed him every morning and he seems to love that, he's a really lovely boy  :Luv:

Asda dont sell Classic, the only places i have seen it is Morrisons, Wilkinsons and Pets at Home, but it is generally on offer in PAH, and less than £10 for 24 tins. I rarely shop in Tesco, but didn't see it last time I was in.

Yep, Tescos sell 6 x 400g gram tins meat or fish variety

eta: @ £2.30 each
