I know it did feel a bit strange really offering a home to a cat I had no idea anything about what he looked like etc but that didn't matter, he needed a loving home and I could offer one  :)

When I originally enquired about him 2 months ago I just offered him a home whatever I had no idea what he was like at all because it was urgent he was to be pts the following week there was no photo - I actually didn't see a photo of him until recently because I asked the lady who rescued him to send me some through but he is lovely thanks  :Luv:

:) Thanks when he first went to the vet they found he was hyperthyroid, has heart problems and high blood pressure.  It's taken so long because he's been having lots of blood tests to get him stable.  His fosterer came to meet us the other weekend and said he should be very happy here she says despite everything he has he's such an amazing cat.  He'll get so much love with us and have everything he wants for however long he's here

« Reply #1 on: July 29, 2009, 09:48:19 AM »
Yep, adopting new cat Saturday all being well.   It's being going on for a while and I've been looking at all the poorly oldies on here but not been able to adopt any until I knew what was happening but finally looks like he'll be here on Saturday.  He was on CC as urgent going to be pts a few months ago he's 17 and deaf and blind with lots of other problems but loves life despite that apparently.
