Thank you all so much and your lovely comments

Feel quite empty and shocked but trying to make each hour count with Parki.

She is so happy to be home and just wants to sit on my knee.

From a plump cat she is now very skinny

Seems an eternity to Monday

Oh Alison! The next few days are going to be very difficult, I fear. I so hope that the biopsy shows that this is the curable kind of tumour

Thanks Lynn, just back

Parki has a tumour in her intestine and Matt the vet took a biopsy.

If it is the nasty spreading one she will have 3/4 mths. However it it is the other type it can be removed for a probable cure

She has pain relief and some liquid to help her intestines.

Will just have to wait for Monday when results back.

She is drinking like anything since she came home which is wonderful

I have to see Matt the vet at 5.10 to discuss Parki so feeling jittery and trying not to imagine the worse

They did not phone this morning for permission to do op or biopsy which I am holding out for

I had to take Parki back to the vet this eve and she just wasn't right. Her temp is till up and he felt something in her tum

She will have an ultra sound tomorrow and xray with possible op for whatever it might be

Feel gutted

Yes, great point, Heather. You can buy special dishes now which are on a stand for just such eventualities.

She does seem a bit more livelier this morning and just lapped some of the 'soup' pouch

It seems she is happier to eat when I hold the dish up to her when she is on a chair

She has just drank the broth from Gourmet's chicken soup pouch for cats . Still not eating properly but at least she has had some goodness
