Well despite trying very hard to get numbers down we received a call for help from a local vet after nowhere would take this wee fella - we had to - couldn't leave him without a 'home'.
Hit by a car around 3weeks ago and brought to the vets after being found lying at the side of the road he has spent the last couple of weeks at the vets. He has now arrived at the Harbour this afternoon to continue his aftercare with a view to finding him a new home when he is ready.
He still has at least another 6 weeks cage rest to go and is still very wobbly. He has a fractured pelvis and has had a few problems with the toilet due to swelling and bruising internally which we will monitor closely.
He is a very handsome boy but has apparently lost a lot of weight since his arrival at the vets so will be looking to try and build him back up to full strength slowly.
He looks terrified and so lost bless him. While we care for him we will be trying to locate any potential owner as the vets have thus far been unsuccessful.
Isn't he handsome???
(not that we're biased or anything when it comes to ginger toms!)
