DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I checked the phone up until about 11.30 last night just in case they caught one. They have a vet right around the corner but it's a very expensive one we don't use (the one that was sarcastic as we declined a £100 Chlamydia test before moving a cat on to another vet  :tired: )

It is a cul-de-sac,. The neighbour that lives in the house facing the cul-de-sac said she always keeps an eye on the old people. The old lady said she didn't know and living alone it made her feel better. She said she had made a friend because of the cats  :Luv2:
The younger woman said that she had seen the old man go to sainsbury's in his boxer shorts twice and last week so she phoned social services as she was worried. They told her to find out who his doctor is and phone him. Then she saw him sitting on his front wall in only socks. She phoned SS again and they said they would "try" to send someone round. They never did and the next thing they knew, he was dead in his hallway. The police had to break in to get the body. She is angry that "The SS" didn't do a thing to help a sick old man  >:(

I felt sorry for the old lady as she said she was scared living alone knowing her neighbour was dead next door. She has never owned a cat and said she had to ask in sainsbury's what the best food for siamese cats was - they gave her Whiskas supermeat  :-:

I'd be happy to steal them mark!

You'll have to speak to your police and let them know you will always take cats in these circumstances.
It's not always convenient but it doesn't happen that often.

I was on phones today. I had gone to Canterbury to go to some job agencies. I was having some lunch and phoned in. I couldn't make the message out but heard her say "2 Siamese" I called Sharon and she had got the message too. It was handy that I was in Canterbury as Gillian works in a college there so I got a trap from her and took it to the old lady. What had happened is her next door neighbour died in his house on Sunday. The police broke in to get the body but his 2 Siamese cats were outside. We don't  know if the Police let them escape or if the old man had died while the cats were out. The old lady phoned The police, the RSPCA and social services about the cats but none of them wanted to know  >:( - She phoned us in desperation. The cats were last seen this morning - there is a really busy road nearby so we are hoping they get trapped before they are run over or stolen  :'(
