I know Maddiesmum, i am very upset about what happened specially when i called the nurse to check with her and no matter how the name of to tablets are similar if she had listened to me and not rushing to hang up then all these could be avoided, but that is something which i have to deal with later, at the moment i want to concentrate on Boy and see if he can get better.

I read few nights ago here, that some one elses cat was given the wrong dose of tablets,its really scary to know mistakes are made everyday in different practices and sadly some people never findout about.

I am so gratefull that we were lucky enough to findout he was given the wrong medicine , and the sad thing in BOY case is that the old vet didnt realize untill he was told,so if i hadgone back to them not knowing , he probably would have gone through so many unneccesary tratments.

Now lets go back to auction and get something nice for the cats.

You know this is incredibly sad that BOY has had to suffer because of the negligence of a staff member at your former vet practice. I am sure it makes you so very angry because it does me. Anyway as I said in my previous post I am glad he is home with you for the weekend and hope he is well.

Awww Thanks, last night there was something wrong with my computer! Everytime i posted it just disappeared

Yesterday when we got home just out side the door he was so happy going from oneside to other side of carrier, i am sure if he could jump up and down he would

and then he had some food and water

, and went to my bed and didnt get sick all night, and with him being well , my fall didnt seem to mater

This morning i took him and they gave him Zantac injection for the ulcers and two other injections , antibiotics and anti sickness, he was asgood as gold, but since he attacked the vet 2 weeks ago no one really wants to handle him

Thankyou again every one , i couldnt do this without you.

Now we have to wait for the biopsy result and pray that things get better.

I hope that the results will help make Boy better when they arrive but I guess he must be feeling really sore from his poor insides, no wonder he doesnt want to eatand is sick.

Thankyou everyone for your well wishes, BOY is back home for weekend like last week, but i have to take him tomorrow and sunday for his medicines which is given by injection.

He is really happy to be home, i am going to spoile him ,lots of cuddels and hugs and brushing, he has been through so much.

HI,I am sorry every one i couldnt post lastnight, when i left BOY in the vet lastnight i slipped and hurt my Knee and back, i just made it home to bed and couldnt sit to post.

Boy had ultrasound, xrays and biopsy. The biopsy result wont be ready till next week, but they told me at the moment they can say he has ulcers and the lining of his intestines are soft and bleeding . The biopsy they have done is only from the top layers so it might not show every thing but Caroline said she doesnt want to operate on him and open his stomach to see if she can find anything,that is because of Norocarp and all the complication they prefer not to operate and also he has been through somuch already, so now we have to wait till next week to get the result.
My cab is here i have to go to my GP for my back but i will post latr.

Thanks, i spoke to Caroline and i have to take him in tomorrow morning at 8.30, and not to give him any food .

She said once they have a look inside then they will know more, so hopefully by tomorrow afternoon they can tell me .

He had something this morning at 7.30 and started getting sick again , hehas been sick 3 times . I called Caroline and left her a message to see if i should take him to surgery today instead of tomorrow?

Last night i decided to take today off and stay home with him and i am glad i did , he doesnt look good again
