Was looking at Riley's back paw tonight and on one of them he has lost the fur on the very inside and it seems to be weeping a browny substance, not blood but not sure what it is.
Last Saturday he was in the bathroom and was sat on the towel rack playing swingbat with the light cord, I heard a really loud yowl and a thud I rushed to the bathroom and found him in the spare room meowing really loudly. He was really frightened and hissed, not at me or Lukey but just hissed so I knew he had hurt himself. He went in the gap behind the bed so I coaxed him out, he was limping on that back paw for no more than 5 minutes and then he jumped on the bed, jumped on the windowsill and was racing around like aloon chasing Lukey.
Later that day I checked his paw, squeezed each toe, stretched each one out, squeezed his foot in general, no reaction at all - by that I mean he didn't flinch or pull away but he could definitely feel it. He has been absolutely fine in himself - eating, drinking, playing, walking completely normally. I can only guess that it is linked to him getting his toe caught in the towel rack or something similar but am also thinking it could be a skin condition

I'm feeling really bad for not noticing sooner

Here's a pic, doesn't completely show it but by comparison the other paw is snowy white inside.
