Okay now really confused as I have never heard this before, new Vet, who I have to say I am not particularly struck on, said when I said she was the runt hence her small size, that runts are kittens conceived a few weeks after the rest of the litter and so are just premature? I have never heard of this before as I thought that queens had a short season and then stopped calling especially after conception? She then tried to say that she was concerned that Boblet could have a shunt in her liver stopping her from properly metabolising food and she would put money on the fact she would eat and then go immediately to sleep. I said no, she has a poo and then plays like a mad thing, so she insisted that her poos must be runny and I told her they were normal, neither soft nor hard, she then said when she plays she must just crash. I said that she is very lively throughout the day and then calms down a bit after playing at night and as far as I know just sleeps with the other two on the sofa when the lights go out. that is where she is if I have to come down for painkillers. She is alert and interested now whilst I type? Sitting on my shoulder with her forepaws on my head
Saying that she couldn't feel anything amiss. So Boblet has had her first jabs, and is going back on the 22nd for the second lot. Vet did agree that it would be better to chip her when she gets spayed at 6 months, she did ask if I wanted her chipped today, but as she will not be allowed out until she is a LOT bigger, I said that I didn't really want such a big needle being stuck in such a tiny cat. I have Mibumax to give her the day after tomorrow and kitten Advocate to put on her 48 hours after that. Oh well, rather than the £62.00 quoted by the receptionist £90.66 later, but Emo and Trouble also have Milbumax and 3 months worth of Advocate. Any thoughts on Boblet being prem?
