Can't begin to explain how tight votes were ............ well without telling ya'll the exact number of votes which I ain't gonna do

All I will say is that there were ties; not one or two either

.

We didn't want to exclude any of the ties from the Final so us Purrs members only have ourselves to blame that we now have to................

choose 3 out of 21 finalists

Voting will open last thing tonight (assuming I get me act together posting pics and Tan puts on poll) and will close at 8pm on Tuesday 21 June. I would urge ya'll to give yourselves thinking time coz this one is gonna be terrifyingly difficult

In view of the number of ties in the semis, I'm getting very nervous that there will be ties in the final

so there's a new rule in an effort to avoid putting our judges (7 long term members with no tittentats in the Show) through the awful ordeal of choosing between ties. New rule is that, in event of ties, number of semi final votes achieved by the tied pics/videos will be taken into account. A bit like the number of passes taken into account in Mastermind but in a positive way

Semi finals 1 and 2 were not meant to open until Friday but, following executive decisions at the very highest of levels

, have decided we all need more time to make choices coz boy oh boy it's a doozey

Consequently Semis will be opened later today for voting until Tues 14 June at 8pm

I know it's difficult to choose but we need as many members voting as possible ................. pretty please

I'm sure my Cidie would be thrilled to know she got through to the second round. You folks never me her but she left us last year at 19 years of age. She was small in stature but had the biggest purr in the world. I'm sure she is still here guiding Callie and Monty in the ways of the world. We miss her every day too as well as Kennedy x

we are just finishing of the next round set up and so many gorgeous babes didn't get there but the voting was so close more so than any other year of the cat show.

just goes to show that they are all so wonderful and adored by us

Some of the babes that just missed out were Daisy, Effie,Minty,Mushy,Arron & Ginge gang, Blackie,Drum, Boo,Boris, Smartie,Bonnie,Karlo, Socks, Sweetie Pie, Chubby,Spot,Mikey,Billy Wizz . So hard to choose as they are all so lovely

Next round is gonna be even worse to pick.

no -but him mum definitely had a bit of the Oriental in her

that green thing is his spiral Christmas tree sadly all its balls and mice fell off long ago but he still loves his springy tree
