Methinks this chappie may be telling porkie pies as cable ties don't fit around the average tree, and one inch nails are not required on trees that are thin enough for cable ties IYSWIM. Nor would the average driving instructor be carrying nails in his first aid pack.  :shify: Having said that the 'magnanimous' terminology used in the council quote leaves a lot to be desired. Why did they telephone him if he had 48 hours from receiving the letter? Because they forgot to mention 'urban decay' in the letter?  :tired:
:'( My beautiful Noah rescued 13/02/09, adopted 11/10/09, taken 11/02/11 :'( You deserved so much more.

I can understand about the nails in trees cos that will kill them but on lamposts etc its just shocking and I still have Pussy posters up, except for the one my nasty neighbour tore down.

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.
