Millys biopsy cost £600 so dont complain! She had a proper op hence the price but you can see how things add up!

mine charge £28 for the first, then £22 (I think) then £18 - its bad I think because if they say pop back next week for me to see how it is going you can't really say no and it does nothing to encourage people to use vets!

Well its getting to a stage that I have to phone to see when Peter is on, and if he's not there I either have to wait or get blooming charged £20  >:( But even Peter has started charging me for a half consult  :tired:

my vets are very hit or miss on the follow up fees, the only one who ever seems to let me off is one of the partners

Yeah its getting a pain the bottom lately as he's there so often  :tired: I just barely have the money for his treatment never mind £20 on top, especially as they are not telling me anything new  >:(

And to be honest, I dont know how this bill is so big  He only had a biopsy and 3 injections, which the injections could of amounted to £60 with the consult, but it was an after surgery check so that should of been no consult fee  :shify: Humm Im going to have to ask them about that.

How much does a biopsy cost?  :-:

If your favourite vet doesn't charge then surely the rest won't? especially as it's ongoing if you suspect a problem I'd get your vet to ok it with the rest CC.

Thanks all

Were going to the V.E.T.S tomorrow so will see what they say (I cant even think that word without Ollie knowing, I think he must be telepathic  :evillaugh: )

If he's going to have to be on the jabs for steroids do you think its possible I could give them myself? Would the vets let me?

This would be better than going to the vets every 10 days and also avoid the consult fee. I dont really understand why Im being charged a consult fee when he's only getting his meds.  :tired:

Ollie's vet is good tho and doesn't usually charge me a consult fee, as he says its an ongoing thing  :sneaky: But the rest of the vets do and when I need Ollie's vet, he is never there  :tired:

That is what Schui had CC! (poor Ollie, but it could have been worse) I used to have to scrape the tartar off his every day  he eventually had all his teeth out and was much better but he was on permanent steroids for his nasal problem so that probably helped his gums too.  Has Ollie got many fangs teeth  ;)

 :thanks: everyone   :grouphug:

This is what Ollie has..... Plasmacytic Stomatitis  :-: going to read up on it now  ;)

The vet said its not as bad as having cancer (obviously) but its a bad thing to have. So the treatment is going to be agressive steriods  :scared: I think they mean steriods in high doses. Anything is better than being dead I suppose  :shy:

I cant believe it, Ive been really worried all week, and cant thank everyone enough for wishing my wee man well  :)

 :thanks:
