I too have had a problem trying to pay via PayPal.  I don't have a Paypal account so I filled in the amount and all my card details then pressed review payment and continue and everything hung up.  I waited for ages but then the page went blank and still nothing happened.  I hate it when that sort of thing happens - my card details could be floating around in the ether somewhere and I've no idea whether I have paid anything.  I suspect not.  I'll leave it and try again tomorrow.

I have my email address saved to the account, so know which one to use. I have just had to change my password (yet again) because i had forgotten what it was, maybe i have to wait 24 hours or something? Their help desk is useless as it uses jargon, so will have another go. If all else fails, I will pop a cheque in the mail tomorrow afternoon. Sorry for this messup - there are times when I hate technology...

Oh dear, I had no problem. If you already have a Paypal account are your paymetn details up to date, you haven't had a new car sent out and the old one is registered for example?

new car hey that would be nice  :evillaugh:  ;)

Oh yeah, wouldn't it! Gotta love typos that still make sense  :evillaugh:

if we have won a few auctions i presume we can add them all into one transaction, just adding a note in the box to say what we have won.  can we also add in any extra donation?

thanks
helen xx

Yeap all together please hun. A summary list is of everyones totals is being prepared as we type :)

And yes if you would like top add a few more pennies that would be great :)

From looking at Paypal, if you pay from an existing balance and use the send money to a friend/personal option then there shouldn't be any charges deducted.  If you pay by Credit or debit card then you can pay the fee at your side to enable Paws to get more money.  I'm not sure whether it is ethical given that most payments are purchases - Paypal may get suspicious if the account suddenly receives a lot of money into it as personal transfer!

Karen

Hi hun   great plan but sadly we will get into trouble at paypal if personal is selected as this is for strict family or self use only.

Yes there will be some fees off the money coming in . If you would like to add on 3.2% plus 20p to your total that will cover the fees.  ;D

anyone worried about the morality of this ... you are making a donation - the charity is receiving money in return for goods donated on its behalf. The person offering the goods does not receive payment - there is no purchase here ...  at least as far as the recipient of the money is concerned. ;D

Thanks for posting that link! ;)

The Paypal link at the bottom of the page sets it up as a donation, so you don't have to select whether its a gift etc. It's all done for you  ;)
