Given the time, space and money, I'm sure quite a few of us would swap ours lives for hers  :Luv2:

My aunt Runs a rescue in Australia. Mainly lame geese, ducks etc but also cats & dogs. She has the land and was married to a wealthy Australian and married to another one now  :evillaugh: - so she is lucky enough to have the "resources" to do what she does.

She is still amazing though - I'm sure the majority of people with plenty of money choose to self-indulge in useless material stuff.

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

This woman is living my dream! What an amazing human being. They all look so happy and carefree, happy in the company of others and dogs, healthy coats, and eyes. Avid curiosity that you sometimes don't see in many rescues.

I am in awe.

Check out the kitchen on the website - looks like mine - with just a few more cats on the worktops! LOL! And I love the woodburner pic with them all laid out in front of it  :Luv2: It was great seeing them all outside, climbing trees etc, lovely.  ;D

What a wonderful place and all the cats and dogs look so well and happy.

They also have great facilities for FIV cats and I bet thats the sorta dream of so many of our rescues.

:Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:  They certainly all look very happy and healthy ... I love the bit at the beginning where they are all following her with their tails in the air.
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

Wow  :wow:  I thought it was going to be one of those crazy cat ladies with stenching overflowing litter trays   The cats all look so happy and healthy  ;D

Check out their website too: http://www.cathouseonthekings.com/

Pretty impressive statistics  ;D....

Since its founding 16 years ago, The Cat House on the Kings has saved over 16,000 cats and 4,000 dogs (not counting the 40,000 animals we have spayed and neutered!) and currently cares for more than 700 cats and kittens in a unique, cage-free environment!
