Had another update on Christopher this afternoon, he is settling very well with his new sister and even playing pawsies with her.He has met his new vet and was no trouble at all, vet did detect a grade 1 heart murmur which worried me in view of his late sister Robyn, however new vet is fully aware of what happened to Robyn and says the same as my vet that we do not need to worry and that he will monitor Christopher carefully in order to detect any changes early. Christopher now has a new name Edgar.
All cats well so now that Hettie is home Paws Inn has returned to being a happy place again.

Shirley she lives in our greenhouse and has done since June 1998, she even has a special blanket which her Aunty Pav got her. Our greenhouse is full of cat beds for ferals.

Hettie was probably annoyed you went away for the night and left her, Gracie Dirty Face is the same, she packs her bags and goes off for a good week if I am not at home for one night, it is like she is telling me off. I am sure she will be back soon

She hasn`t turned up. For those who dont know Hettie she is the first feral we released here in June 1998 so she is getting quite old, she is totally feral still, a way of life she chose and one we respect,it doesnt mean we love her any less but I think it means we worry about her so much more.

Lily is a very proud mum this morning, she was very happy to have a stroll around the Pens (locked inside) while OH did mucking out, as soon as she had finished breakfast she lay almost on her back forcing the little ones to mountaineer to the milk bar

so all happy and well at the Inn. One of the little black/whites has the cutest white mark around his/her nose almost like a horseshoe but I expect thats my eyesight.
