Lovely pics!

My long haired 'black' cat, Bear, has the same russety brown hue as the lil fluff ball being groomed by Lily. When you get the sunlight streaming through his fur at certain angles he's almost a ginger!

They are beautiful photos and thanks for posting Carol. Lily is lovely isn't she? She had the sweetest nauture when I met her whilst I was last at the Inn.

Hope you have a fab hol Carol. Are you able to take your furries with you?

T- if you're reading this then hope the R&R is going well

... and some of Lily and her babies, now 5 weeks old.  One is definitely going to be long haired and the jury is out on the other two.  They
look black from a distance but close up they are almost tortie.  I don't know whether the brown will fade because Lily is a browish black.  You can see the colouring best on the one where she is grooming the kitten on my knee.

Teresa escaped from hospital last night but don't get too excited.  I have been to see her today and even she admits that maybe she should have stayed put.  :(
Her lungs are definitely improved but the nausea and sickness are very bad and she hasn't been able to eat anything at all today, and I suspect not for the first time.
She has no oxygen at home and although she is managing she says she misses it.  :scared:

The cats are all fine and I will post some photos when I get time.

Thanks for the update Carol

I know the following might sound sanctimonious (and apologies for that!) but as a regular blood donator I am aware that blood donations can drop over bank holiday weekends so I encourage you if possible, especially as T is requiring transfusions, to think about giving it a go over the next couple of weeks if you're able to.

If you've never done it then there's nothing to worry about. And that's coming from someone who hates needles!

Apologies if the above sounds like a lectur

S.

Good point Lil_Scruff - if anyone is able to give blood then it can be 'for Teresa'  :)

They dont want my blood either,  I used to be a regular donor until back in 1994 I had a blood transfusion after the birth of my baby, just in case they accidentally gave me CJD - charming !!

Get well soon  T

Managed to get hold of Rob last night and he says Teresa is slightly better but still poorly and not really managing to eat.  She has been having blood transfusions because of severe anaemia but they had to stop them yesterday because her temperature went sky high.

The cats are all fine and the little ones are not so little any more.  Apparently Jip is causing mayhem.   :Luv2:
