sorry had relapse saturday night and up to tuesday morning was fighting for life yet again,today first time i have eaten since saturday,still got double pneumonia and possibly something else waiting for lots of tests. will post when i am stronger.

I went to see Teresa yesterday and when I walked in she was sitting up in bed eating a cheese toastie that her daughter had brought her.

Friday was the first day she managed to keep food down so hopefully she will get stronger now. She did then refuse her tea but having seen (and smelled) it I can’t say that I blame her.

She is still very poorly though. Infection levels in her lungs are high and the coughing takes so much out of her. She will be on IV ABs until at least this coming Friday and she needs 24 hour oxygen.

She says to tell you that she saw the Grim Reaper on Tuesday but she wasn’t really scared and her Tena Lady stayed dry. He asked her if she was coming but she told him she wasn’t ready yet.

This is no joke.

The painkillers gave her hallucinations so they’ve now put her on a different one. Its not as good at controlling the pain but she’s happier with it.

Keep sending the positive vibes – she has a long way to go yet.
