Marigold saying get me out of here, we didnt say much but Marigold was at deaths door just over a week ago, Rob may try to re unite her with her litter mates tomorrow, she is a very demanding little madam and with me in here and Rob at work the house is a tad lonely, think we need to get Twinkle to take over Minimopsicals old job and take charge of these little madams.
Mac`s pic very red eyed, tried to fix on puter but not good, I am dying to get home and pick him up again.

Rob just brought camera with a few pics of cats for me as he knows I am missing them.

First pic is Marigold esp for her Aunty Helen

Next is Milly obviously very relaxed and not missing me in the slightest

Then comes my little Mac, well not so little, hes going to be a giant, this is the first time I have seen his eyes.

Oh Teresa - doesn't that do your heart good?   :wow:  How adorable are they?  As Shirley says they clearly love each other, and have just as clearly found paradise in their new home.  What more could you have asked for?   :Luv:

Helen - thanks for posting those.  :)  I love the topmost piccie where they're sitting upright looking at the camera, and then when you see them all snuzzled up and snoozing -  :Luv2:  Fab! just fab.

I was just watching the save a life video too and was racking my brains trying to remember their names! Funny how they were the ones that stuck out for me and then just minutes later you posted an update  :)

P.S Feel free to email me the new pics to resize, can either post them for you or email them back - whatever you prefer  :)

Anyone remember Max and Mabel, the 2 feral kittens that hid, stuck tongue out and hissed, these are original pics from last year; just received this update which has given me enormous pleasure, in fact after watching Helens Purrs videos and now this I`m blabbing like a baby but all good stuff

Dear Teresa and Claire

We thought you might like to see how Max and Mabel are getting on.

Last time we sent you some photographs, they were sharing a small cat bed on the window sill. This is still their favourite place and, as the new photographs show, despite outgrowing it, they manage to find a way to fit into it. As you can see, they love each other's company.

They have developed into two wonderful cats. Max is a big softie. He curls up on the sofa between us if we are watching TV and has begun to venture onto our laps. He has also begun to protect his territory in the garden - we saw him chasing after a neighbour's cat the other day.

Mabel also loves a fuss now and rolls over on her side if you start stroking her. She still loves to play with the toys she had at Paws Inn and supplements this by chasing anything that moves in the garden. She has a natural hunter's instinct and has brought in a few 'trophies' (including wasps, moths and worms) to show us.  Although Max will sleep for hours at a time, Mabel is in and out of the cat flap all day. They both have healthy appetites, especially Max - in fact we look forward to the day when we can enjoy our own breakfasts in peace.

Both of them have developed strong, loud purrs and are confident around other people. They are very inquisitive when we have guests and do not shy away. We went away for three days recently, leaving a neighbour to feed them. They were absolutely fine , although they have been keen for a fuss since our return.

We hope your health has improved, Teresa, and that the sanctuary is going well.

Thanks again for Max and Mabel - they are a fine testament to the great work you are doing.

Best wishes

Alan and Gill

There are pics attached but not sure how to get them shrunk on here but will try

Hope Marigold and James are continuing to improve.  I can imagine how you are missing them all T.  We'll have to have a whip round for a new lounger for you when get home now that Monica has claimed yours.

You should set up a 'Paws Inn' map  :) Glad James is perking up and hopefully on the mend, as for Marigold being poorly  :( try as I might I can't get her out of my head  :Luv2: Did the vet say what might have been the matter with her?

I'm sure Monica will relinquish her your sun lounger back to you but only when you're well enough to go home and not before

I did forget to mention that I have a reserve on Lily after she is spayed etc ,she will be going to live next door to 2 former Paws Inn Kittens who are now 9years old (Tulas sons) small world. Rob did a follow up and went to see Pepsi in her new home and then cheekily popped in on BlackJack and Midnight who were all great fun, strangely they live quite close to each other and not terribly far from Chico/Scamp. Funny theres not many places that hasnt received or provided a Paws Inn cat over the years.
I should have mentioned that Marigold was removed from mum on vets advise last week as she was losing weight , she did go downhill but is now eating well and loving being in the house.
James Actually had a fractured jaw, split tongue and injured leg as well as the eye, we are hoping the eye wont need further treatment but he will always have reduced vision. Poor boy was very timid when we first collected him but I gather he is enjoying lots of attention in my absense.
Daisy and Mac looked wonderful when I last saw them and I am gutted that I missed the little fella opening his eyes, paid the vet bill last week over £1300 for June alone mind you it was £300 for caesarian, woth every penny.
Sitting her taking meds and have forgotten most of what I needed to report on other than to say Twinkle is doing very well, O yes treated myself to a sun lounger and Monica stole it and now I`m here so guess it will belong to the ferals now.
I do moiss them all dreadfully.

JS to answer your earlier queries re Pepsi and kittens
First Chico was homed
Pepsi then gave birth to 5 more kittens
Korky and Blackberry were rehomed together
Midnight and Black Jack have just been rehomed together
Bramble is still in our care.

Absolutely wonderful. :) Without you, I'm almost certain that Scamp would have been left to fight his infection without medical care and more than likely not survived.

So, Pepsi, Scamp and four out of the five kittens have been rehomed - and there's only Blackberry left.....hope the right home comes along really soon. And for the Ginger Ninjas too, actually.

Bramble is left, Blackberry has got a home x
