Heres hoping today is the day. Take good care of yourself - much as I worry about you ,I get that there is no way on earth you would turn your back on a cat that really needed you , and thats what makes you so special.

Morning Aunty T.  Just checking up on you - making sure you remembered to come home.  Mac sends a shy little "Hi"  :shy:

Spent 4 hours there and didnt see him, had huge tom in trap twice and only place available for us was staff smoking area, can you imagine how awful it was sitting in the midst of 7 people smoking  I have been awake all night worrying myself sick, staff say between 6 and 8 weeks old, I am not fit enough to go on my own and so cannot go today so feel a right failure.
Helpers thin on ground this weekend so will try and cancel tomorrows kitten viewing so that I can go tomorrow with Debbie.
All other cats/kittens happy and well.

Teresa you really shouldn't you know  :shify:

Mother cat feral killed on road 2 weeks ago, a rescue I care not to name came and got 3 kittens who were evidently clinging to mums dead body, they were pts, a 4th kitten ran away. That kitten is living in a hedge, I am told it is so thin it will not live long but no one can catch it.

I couldnt say no and I bet you couldnt either.

no you are quite right

Sorry Teresa - deleted it as thought it did not add any value in identifying your lovely new resident.

Basically I said that people always think my girlie is a pedigree (maine coon type) and she may well be a cross - so just a moggie - long haired silver tabby or DLH silver tabby as the vet refers to her.

What was interesting about your new resident I thought was the shape of his eyes - quite distinctive.

Mr Stray is stunning, he could just be a regular moggy - I'm sure Edd has a very similar looking cat who isn't a pedigree - 'just' a beautiful moggy  :Luv2: Hope someone is missing him and that they are reunited soon

Sorry to hear about Polly, very sad but she had 11 wonderful years between Paws Inn and her new owners - the alternative and what would have happened to her if you hadn't trapped her doesn't bare thinking about

He looks a little like a long haired silver tabby, which is odd considering the distinct lack of stripes. Valid point made on the post below though; you make sure you take care of yourself too.

Just had a letter to say that Polly a cat I homed in 2002 died last week and for some reason its hit me harder than most. Polly started life as a feral kitten and she and her brother were trapped by me in 2000, both had horrific cat flu and eye problems, I called them Huckleberry and Finlay and they took great pleasure in drawing blood in those early weeks. Huckleberry was blind and got a wonderful home with a Norwegian forest cat who had a huge outside run, he was the most loving. Finley was an adult when we rehomed her partly because of her nervous temprement but being black didnt help either, anyway that was september 2002 and we visited her regularly, she became a very spoilt girl called Polly.
So odd that I have 2 black ferals coming in today !

He's stunning. Will google long haired breeds later for comparison. (Course someone a bit more "up" on pedigree will probably know. :))

I could really do with some help in identifying the latest Paws Inn arrival, not sure whether he is a pedigree or not; all I know is that I was dragged out of my bed at 11pm last night to deal with him.He is longhaired and his underhalf is matted and he seems to have been stray for 3 weeks. I cant really post him lost until I know the breed so all help appreciated.

Another one drooling over the luscious Larkin here, I can't believe he has not found a home already. Everytime I see a pic of him I have to think of reasons not to attempt a catnapping  :shify:
