Thanks Roge. Please let Ron know the money paid via paypal can be transfered to him on the 16th whichever account is best. I know he is waiting for his charity status before the bank will open the rescue account so the bank account he uses now for lost cats Brighton will be fine.

Thanks for the update Roger.

So sorry to hear about Mitzy who has a look of our Mr Barney. I hope that she was not in pain. I hope that Ron recovers soon and that his family member makes a full recovery.

As an aside I have never known a year like this in my lifetime for serious illness, death of friends, etc. It seem that more people than ever are affected. Maybe it is me just getting older! Roll on 2007. Give us all a break.

On a happier note well done to everybody who joined in the auction. So many cats will benefit from the proceeds.

As you know Roger - I don't know Ron but his work preceeds him and the feline population have clearly got a champion in their corner.

I have just this second come off the phone with ron and he says a really big thank you to all of you who have raised and helped to raise such a great amount of money for his rescue.
Ron would have come on to tell you this himself and I am sure will do soon,but he has had a really bad time lately one of his own cats has just had to be PTS (feline leukemia) rest in peace little mitzy you were a real little sweetheart,ron also has a family member in hospital fighting for his life and on top of all of that he has flu.
So all in all not a good time,and he has such little time he has not been on his PC for a good few days,so if you do not see him on here for a while you will understand why.
