Still no luck with the last kitty  :'(  I've been up there the last few nights and put food out and also had the trap out for a while.  I think I'm going to release mum back up there tomorrow, I'll see how she is and have a word with the vet as I'm a bit dubious with her recently being spayed but I'm also concerned about the kitten  :tired:  I'm going to make a few enquiries around the industrial park to see if he's been around, I know the vet nurse saw him day before yesterday so I reckon he's still okay but the problem is finding him.

Just got back in now and there's no sign  :tired:  I've left some food in the bushes for him and I'll have to try and get him after work tomorrow.  I've got to go to the vets anyway to pick up the black/white one that was neutered today.......they agreed that he could have another night of warmth and food and he can be released tomorrow  ;)

Sadly the little one died whilst I was in the vets earlier, they did everything they could for him but sadly it was too late  :'(  :'(  :'(  I watched him take his last breaths   :'(  :'( They think he had eaten some rat poison so it's imperitive now I get the last kitten.  I've been up there again this afternoon and caught another that I didn't know about, another little black/white babe but there is a fluffy one that I still need to get......I spotted him this evening so he is still around.  I've not long been back from the vets so I'm getting something to eat and I'm going to have to go back out again to try and get him  :tired:

:RIP: Little man, at least you were warm and loved at the end, xxxxxxxxxxx

Sad news for one of the little kittens today  :'(  :'(  I was out til gone 12 last night with the trap and most of yesterday and he was nowhere in sight, I left lots of food out for him so at least he'd get something to eat.  Today, one of the local workers found him under a bush but not moving  :'(  :'(  He is now in the vets and Sean said his chances of survival are slim but he's going to do everything he can for him.  He's pooing black stuff so he's possibly eaten something he shouldn't.........I'm keeping everything crossed that this little one will make it  :'(

Awww I felt so sorry for him  :evillaugh:  He looked at me as if to say "I only wanted some grub"  ;)  He can be released again late on tomorrow night so at least tonight he's had a comfy warm bed and the vet nurse also gave him some grub  :)  He will also be wormed and deflead, he was full of lice when I picked him up

Just got back in now after being out since about 7 o'clock and I've managed to get just one kitten  :tired:  Absolutely no sign of the others but this one looks to be about 12 weeks old so they should be okay if the little minx is the mum.  Sean said if I can get her in in the morning, he will try and squeeze her in for me but they're extremely busy so it's not a definite.  I'm going to try and get a peek at her underneath, if there's no sign of milk, she can be done next week.  I'll take piccies of the little one tomorrow, he looks  :Luv:  :Luv: and is a tabby   :Luv:  :Luv:

She looks about the same size as Portia and she is between 18mths/2 years.  Obviously a little spitfire.

The vets collared me yesterday about some kittens that had either been dumped or were feral and were just down the road from there.  I went over about 8 o'clock last night and sat for 3 hours freezing to death and only saw 2 what looked to be young cats.  I've got a dilemma on today as I caught one and apparently she is the spit of the mum but we're not sure if she is or not  :tired:  I spoke to the lady that reported them but she seems to think they are about 10 weeks old but the one's I saw look about 5/6 months so I'm not sure if she's got her wires crossed or what.  Anyway the one I got is what I would class as an absolute spitfire  :sneaky:  I went to feed her earlier and she came running at me and whacked me straight away, not a very nice kitty at all  :sneaky:  I'm going to try and get her in a crush cage later and have a look at her underneath to see if she has actually been feeding kittens but to me she does look too young really.  I need to try and get her in straightaway and get her back out, she is a loop and is going to be a nightmare whilst she's recovering.  One of the other vets does invisible stitches so I'm going to try and get her to do her so she can be released asap.

The lady who contacted the vets offered to take them on at her farm but this one I doubt very much will settle and god knows how she will keep her contained.  She will charge at you to attack so I think it may be best if she goes back to where she came from.  I'm going to go back up there to try and see if I can spot the "kittens" the lady is referring to and if I get them, they can go in with this one whether she's the mum or not as they are all in the same spot.
