Are you sure its not like a mucus? Sometimes upset tums can produce that as well if its like IBS symptoms or similar?

No haven't tried him on a raw diet,the vet advised me not to when we first got our Bengals because of all the cases of bad stomachs he has had to treat with them. I will see how the results are and then weather this Royal Canin food works. Thanks for everyones advice.

I would definitely try him on a grain free diet plus lacto b. I think that vets often don't know what to do when they've run out of tests to do. And most aren't too good on nutrition (or bengal specialists). They will know what prescription foods treat a specific condition or symptoms and usually recommend them as a matter of course, but they aren't always the best thing for symptoms of unknown cause. Have you tried him on a raw diet? Bengals seem to do well on raw.

Peg is cos the dry food stinks

its made with capelin fish and it has the strongest pong

He is on wet, he won't eat any dry food at all,what is the peg for with dry food? is it to keep the packet sealed

The vet didn't really say what the test were for I think they are doing to make sure it isn't life threatening.

You wont be able to get RC sensitivity in Jollyes but you can from the like of vet uk but the p+p tends to make the price the same. Is he on wet or dry? You'll need a peg if its the dry

What are the blood tests for?

That is one very irresponsible breeder - just feeding a kitten tuna, and then of course they get addicted to it to the exclusion of all other food

Still you did well to get him eating kitten food. Lacto B is great, but think its easier to mix with wet food than dry, as its a powder, as Sheryl said, and also the grain free diet, but just remember to make any dietary changes gradually over a week or so.

Hi Felix, I mix the Lacto B with the Bozita wet food, I lost a lot of faith in the vet over my Benglies poorly bums, hope Simba is all better soon. Mine have raw meat once a week now too and they go mad for it

No Sheryl haven't tried Lacto B,

Just spent £95 in the vets

well we owe the vets that

The vets did some blood tests,more antibiotics

and some Royal Canin Sensitivity food to try him on, should gets the results in a couple of days. The food is expensive before I said to her I might get some food myself she had already got some.She said we could only get it from the vets

sure I have seen it in jolly's.If not do any of you know where I can get it from cheaper,unless I try a different one.(but don't want to mix his food up to much. Sheryl with the Lacto B can you use it with the sensitivity food or you just use it with the normal food?She also said being fed tuna when he was younger could of coursed something with all this going on

the breeder we got him from may have done this to him.

I know how frustrating it is and hope that todays vet has some new ideas, our vet wanted to put them on a Hills diet but our breeder said that its not very good for Bengals so mine are now on Bozita wet and Purina delicate biccies.

We had the same problem with Mellika and Raffi always had the runs, in the end the vets didnt know what to do, we have put both of our Benglies on a grain free diet and they are fine now, hope Simba is better soon, I know how worrying it is.

Thought Simba was on the mend, but found more blood in his poo's again,he also seems to be going for poo's more often,he is eating ok and is playing a bit (maybe not as much as the others though)since we covered the sink so he and sky can't go in there he has been doing it on the kitchen work tops

any ideas) really getting fed up of going back and forward to the vets and having no money
