I understand how you feel, I miss it too. I just loved the way that site worked ans I miss all those emails coming through and how I could post from them and it was all so easy..........I like easy LOL

However you can put a picture on here exactly how you did on cc and to add any smilie you go into reply and there they all are, you just click on em and post! If you want the moving cat and others click on more and it brings up all the rest in a new window.........well on my puter..........and just click on em in your post and bingo you have smilies

Also you can get coloured writing, different fonts , moving words , just clicl on symbols and type word between the brackets ]type here[

I've been having CC withdrawal. Don't know what my laptop is for anymore. Cats are happier now they can spend more time on my lap instead of battling the computer!

I suppose (sigh) until CC comes back...if it does....this site will have to do. Not disparaging this site, just homesick for CC. Haven't really found my way around here yet. For example, how do I put my pick on when don't have own URL (still working on my website)? And how do you put those great pics into the msgs? Someone has a smiley msn thingy of an animated cat. Can't work out how to insert those. Can do this

But that's my limit.
Please excuse the moan; just feeling homesick.....

Hi everyone, I'm over here from CC. I was devastated yesterday, in a complete panic and hardly got any work done.
My OH rang me from home, and said 'you sound sort of funny', I couldn't tell him why, as I don't really want my work mates to know I nip into the Internet when I'm supposed to me working!!

When I've worked out how to do it I'll get a pic for my avatar. So nice to see so many familiar 'faces' here.

Me too Tan - Even though we are all here is's like our mother ship has gone. I have has to set my CC page to the daily diary,as seeing the closure page is too upsetting.

I just checked CC forum as well and I miss it very much... I can imagine it must be hard for some old timers..

Having said that, I am very grateful that we have this site as a temp meet up place. Thank you Tan and your hubby.

Also, it is a shame that the search option in CC forum is not working...

I just been on CC this morning and looked at old forum and am so sad, it was my home and I miss it so much and want it back

As much as this site is great and it is and I am so pleased so many CC peeps have arrived already, CC forum was just so easy to use and I have never seen any other forum that worked so well.

My litttle heart is breaking and it is like looking at Rainbow Bridge.

Its horrible it not being there - My routine has had to change. Get into work, turn PC on, get coffee, sit down, log on, emails, internet, CC Forum..... Now i cant do that!!! It seems strange.

Its really good we have somewhere to go but the change is weird. The habit of clicking on the internet and automatically going to CC is going to be hard to break.

CC has had some probs recently and are snowed under with work on the rescue side of the site.We hope that the forum will be back in the new year but till then we are all hereeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Phew thank you Tan... I was in a right state after recieving an email this afternoon to say CC was closing, I thought it was a joke... I started to panic as you guys have been such a help to a newbie kitten owner and I thought I was going to have to cope on my own

I'm really going to miss the place, I was always popping in whilst at work although I may not of posted much.... I hope we can be happy here until CC come back.
