The cats and dog just ignore each other basically. The dog is very laid back anyway. I have posted a new thread re Oliver and Portia. I think they'll probably drive me potty but as my OH says "who'd know the difference"

Welcome to Purrs we are one big pet loving family and a great place for everything to do with life and the universe as a whole

Welcome from the Clan Cats - 20 ferals, 15 domestics and a rescue Raggie, also Jazz the JRT and Sky our Border Collie puppy - they are all ours and the outside mob, Tyson, Cooper and Rio and our latest addition a white cat Robin has seen from a distance add in a couple of stray peacocks and 6 hedgehogs this makes up our family

A rather large mob but all except he dogs lifes waifs and strays and the ones most normal people wouldn't have!

Can't wait for piccies of your new additions

Hi Puddypaws, we're all mad here but we are also a big friendly bunch who keep each other going through the rough times and laugh over each others' joys. We are not only cat mad, but some of us are dog mad also, so there are some interesting exchanges. Don't worry if you log into what you think is one topic and discover it has gone off on a completely different tangent. We get back to the main subject eventually

Hi everybody. I only joined yesterday so don't know anyone yet. I live in the south-east with my husband and greyhound, and from tomorrow two rescue cats. Don't worry - the dog has lived with 2 other cats until our last cat died 2 months ago. I really admire the work all the rescuers do. It's thanks to them we have been slaves to some wonderful cats (and dogs) over the years. Looking forward to getting to know you all.
