Excellent news, and am glad she is now chipped, at least if it ever happens again she can be reunited quicker.
Please spay your cat

I'm guessing they won't be using that cat-sitter again  :P Great news Ron and more particularly a possible good follow-up story in the local press emphasising the need for microchips??

The owner of Mew Mew rang me at midnight last night, they had just got back from Holiday, there cat sitter told them that they had not seen her since last Sunday, but her where abouts was on there answer phone and my  found web page  and they were over the moon that I had her, they picked her up this morning and could not thank me enough and made a donation to lostcatsbright so mew mew is back home safe and sound, and now (microchipped), happy ending. and yes she is a blue point Biman.

Its definately not a birman or a siamese, so I would go for a ragdoll too  ;D

Looks so like Ducha i cant believe, cute little face and it doest look very old at all. That is Duchas colour exactly and he is a blue point.

Yep, I'd go for bluepoint, and ragdoll, now I've seen the feet! Too light for a sealpoint I reckon. Maybe c*******e point though hmmmm! Sorry couldnt put the word c*******e coz it kept putting in 'healthyfood' instead

I'm sure someone is missing this one but as yet we don't know the cirumstances of why s/he was wandering ... you never know it's owner may be hospitalised or anything.

I have thought about some one cat sitting, but if it was me i would be phoning around all the vets and cotacting RSPCA,PDSA even the police have my number they are always putting people on to me, but i still have not heard a thing, only time will tell" I only keep a cat for one month before I put it up for re homing but I will keep this one a bit longer.

I never checked messages when house-sitting, but then I never lost a cat when I was in charge of its health and well-being...

If the owners are away on holiday and someone is cat sitting other than the fact they have no cat to watch, I dont think they would check answer machine for messages, would they, might not know what to do or who to contact............. just a thought
Cats don't come when they are called,
They take a message and get back to you later.

My goodness it looks like Ducha..............Ron I cant see enought from that picture but are you sure its a siamese?

Ducha is my blue point birman and looks just like that and as you prob know birmans have 4 white feet. It could also be a ragdoll which are very similar  ;D

Thank goodness he is with you now. ;D

CAT FOUND WANDERING IN A MAIN ROAD
« Reply #1 on: August 22, 2007, 22:05:53 PM »
Had a phone call  Sunday night at 11pm  wanting to bring in a little cat found wandering in the middle of a main Road, it had a collar on with phone number, but the people could only get a answer phone, they could not keep it as they had cats of there own that were screeming at it, i thought i would take it in till the morning then phone the owner to pick it up, i have since made  and left mesages and i still have the little cat, i think the owners must have gone away on holiday and left it its a little Siamese, why do people do this? if they had somone coming in to feed it you would think they would pick the phone up, its taking up a pen that could be used for a poor little homeless cat, at least you would think it would be microchipped. well if the owner comes forward i will make them pay me for chipping it and its keep" people like this make me so cross.
