Buster has no choice but to be active,with the ever constant stream of rescues here he has learnt to earn his keep.He is a working cat always on duty to teach bottlefeds everything he knows, he shows the feral kittens how to enjoy the pleasures of being stroked and has a mad half hour with kittens on the stairs most days as well as being chief food taster and lap warmer.
On the other hand Cleo a year his junior holds the position of sleeping beauty so I think Buster is the exception.

Gosh, really, our Byron (we recently adopted at 22) can jump on the settee and the patio table outside, though doesn't really play and I thought they've got her age wrong but if yours is still active - does Buster really run up and down the stairs and play???

Buster says a huge Thank you to everyone for marking his Birthday in such a special way.
He spent the morning playing chase the peacock feather and then enjoyed racing up and down the stairs keeping pace with the kittens. This afternoon he took his true love Tula the feral tabby to bed for a siesta and then batteries recharged he performed his daily check to see that all the catnip mice were alive and well and having the desired effect.

Buster enjoys life to the full, he is an absolute delight and a shining example of local stray made good, his Birthday wish is that all strays find a wonderful home, the secret of Busters youthful looks feeling loved.
