Max was like that after his teeth were done. I was told he probably wouldnt want to eat after the anaesthetic, but practically licked the bowl clean of the bland stuff he was given straight away, and even wanted more .....

He's home and well, still a bit drowsey but he seems fine

He was starving though

The vet nurses were sad to see him go hahaha

Glad it went fine, I was exactly the same when Hobbes was in getting done I was useless at work and got nothing done. The nurse told me to keep an eye on him and said I might want to keep him in in case he was jumping over fences etc cos of his internal stitches. Oh says I, that's no problem he's an indoor cat. Oh well he'll be no bother then says the nurse. Unfortunately nobody told Hobbes who proceeded to run round like a lunatic as soon as he came home and wake me up in the middle of the night having climbed on top of the wardrobe

I was expecting him to be all sleepy but no chance of that

Sarah hun try not to worry(I know exactly how you feel because my dog was getting spayed yesterday and was a nervous wreck) Charlie will be just fine and in the meantime just think what a delicious meal your gonna cook him tomorrow for being so brave,no use treating him tonight as he'll problably be out of it

My Cuddles has just had a pill in her natures menu pouch,I'm such a wicked mother but as shes not has biscuits with it,only the pouch alone it was a treat for her

He was so good at the vets, they all love him haha, he's a little charmer

I hate this waiting around now, just want him home. He's getting his wee microchip done while under anaesthetic.

Pippa had her spay today. Well, my sister called me at 9am to say she had crossed over to the other side (our side of kittydom) because after she left Pippa at the vets, she burst into tears.

So occupied herself with grocery shopping, housework and calling me.

Picked madam up and Pippa was in a state of "what's the all the fuss about" and collected all her toys and brought them to her mum and started running around, got annoyed she wasn't alowed to climb the stairs.

So she did just fine. I suspect Charlie will be 100 times better than that! As will Lukey and Riley!

Awww, I know exactly how you feel. When I took Mia to get spayed, she was shaking in her carrier, and I cried pretty much the whole time she was at the vet

People here were lovely though, and kept reassuring me. Of course, in the end, she was absolutely fine!

So, yes, Charlie will be fine!! Please don't worry too much about him!
