If you are near the border of another county it may be worthwhile contacting rescues there also....  http://www.catchat.org/adoption/index.html  This link brings up a map and you click on the county you want.  Also it might be worth ringing all the local vets again, it's not unheard of for a cat to be on their 'missing' list yet the cat has actually been seen by them as a stray, they just haven't cross referenced.

i want to make sure i have covered all avenues of where Bruiser could have been taken if found.  I have this massive fear of him being taken somewhere and being rehomed and me never finding out.
