You know he will ignore you briefly to make a point - the way they do when you've been away - but he will come round with a few tasty treats.

This is what he's thinking right now  :where:

He's gorgeous Hannah - and I'm sure you'll spoil him so rotten when you go home for Crimbo that he'll still love you to bits, lol!  :catplay:

They do remember. Around 1988, I moved back home for a short time (about a year!) and my mum got her cat Sukie at that time. She used to sleep on my pillow as a kitten and later at the end of my bed. After I moved out, I ashamed to say it but often 6 months went by between visits but she always remembered me. As soon as I was in the house, she smelt me (she was blind at 6 months) and went trotting off upstairs to my old bedroom and sat on my old bed  purring her head off and would rub faces for ages.  I will have to get some photos from my mum and scan & post them - she was a beautiful part persian moggie - my mum used to brush her for hours - she loved it

As they say, the dumbest cat is smarter than the smartest dog  :P

He's beautiful, such a lovely face.

Don't worry about him not liking you Hannah, I'm ashamed to say that when I was 19 I moved to a house where I couldn't have pets so my Mum & Dad got temporary custody of Tiggy, when I moved back she loved me just as much and since then I have been granted full custody of her!
