I know that feeling Ellie, there is no rhymn or reason to what the mail is doing. I reckon you could stick second on everything and it would get there quicker.

Also everything I take down to Post office is having to me measured and wieghed and nobody knows what they can send at what rate any more...........its  pathetic.

As for the Royal mail 

I sent stuff up home 1st class and it took 4 DAYS I also sent a couple of bits second class on the same day and they got there in 2 DAYS
