She? How far are you along? :Luv:

My cats loved my babies, but not to the extent of trying to sleep on them, more friendly sniffs. They did wash feet from time to time to, strange creatures cats. :congrats: :Party 3:

Thanks for the advice, we don't have them at the moment but they've been spotted in the area and my boys like to eat anything that moves.

I have found out that they can cause burning to the mouth if consumed and usually they taste fowl so many animals do stay clear, also that they're not really a danger to either humans or animals, I hope I don't have to deal with them they seem to be becoming a real problem atm.

Thanks sue it's good to be back, I miss the chats we are adding another member to our family soon and it's not an animal lol

This is such an intriguing question, and I've seen on the news that certain parts of the Midlands and the south east of England are being very badly affected by Harlequins this year.

The wisdom on "Learn About Nature" is that the more brightly coloured ladybirds have higher levels of toxins in their bodies, designed to deter predators from eating them.  All ladybirds bite, humans and animals, mainly when they're hungry (phew!) but evidently they would have to be eaten in numbers to present a danger.

Who knew?   ;D

Lovely to see you back posting, Eyes Half Closed   :)

Hey all, with the recent infestation of these foreign ladybirds I was wondering if anyone knows if they will harm cats or other pets if eaten or if the pet is bitten?
