We went straight to pets at home and got one unfortunately she's found she can scratch her face with her back paw but if nothing else it will be useful for when she's being fed

We have this type and easy measured so you can have it for her to come wearing - they blow up and we have never had an eye clawed, but they can jump and eat and see out of the good eye

Even with the ferals and their hate of anything new we had no issues and all eye removals were fine as was the recovery

Yes but I was asking for the link to the ones Liz used as the vet said a lot of the soft collars or comfy collars she would be able to bend the collar and scratch her stitches

I put 'buy comfy collar' into goggle and got loads of pertinent results.

We have had 3 eyes removed here at the Clan, 2 ferals and1 domestic and the best thing we invested in was a Comfy collar, it means they can jump and eat which we found they couldn't do wearing the plastic cone of shame which inhibited them and caused major issues with the ferals.  They can be got on Amazon and are about £10.00 - we have them in several sizes and once bought are always on hand should the need arise again

We had dissolvable stitches put in to the ferals eyes as both weren't for the human thing and Billie jo our domestic had normal ones

We found recovery was good and although it looks awful when they come home, we also kept all vets appointments and if worried popped them back, more so the fferals as they weren't for loving us in the first place and it was the first time our vets had tried dissolvable stitches

Our chiana has been having issues with her eye for months now and after months of treatment and an ultrasound on the eye the vet recommended to remove the eye and we agreed she's been really good with her recovery etc I was wondering if anyone has any advice to help us care for her whilst she gets used to only having one eye TIA
