:( I'm really sorry guys but I am withdrawing this. I've been thinking over the logistics of it and the standards I have been trained to, which I am no longer physically capable of performing at, and I just don't think I'd be comfortable or capable of doing a good job of something like this. I've got a progressive condition which is now at mid-stage and while I do still play a little for fun, I don't think it'd be right for me to commit to a solo performance - it's a few years since I've done something like that and I don't actually want to discover that it's no longer possible - I made my choice to stop being a professional musician a few years ago. I will of COURSE go and spend some time with old folks or young folks or poorly folks if people think that's worth bidding for (I do rather a lot of volunteering anyway!) but the auction to send me off to play to people isn't happening. Sorry.  :'(

I reckon this idea might be the best one on here (if I may say so) as both the hospice (I reckon I'd suggest a hospice, Rebecca) and Ron's rescue will benefit at the same time. A brilliant way to help so many others, really...

For now, from me, £20.00

Ok becca I have to split this post....................so there are two sperate things, one the lesson on original thread and second for you to go play for as long as you can as Teresa suggested, stunning idea by the way  ;D

Oooh, yes, that's a fabby idea  :Luv: although I hope any bidders would forgive me for reducing the playing time; I can't play for an hour, that's why I'm now a teacher instead!  :-[

Rebecca this is a lovely offer but sadly I`m too far away, just wandered if your offer would be flexible enough that the winning bidder could donate your promise so that you  could go and play for the hour in an old folks home or other worthy cause  of your choosing?
I will start the bidding at £10

Rebecca I think you have given a wonderful offer, please don't be downhearted by lack of offers for the lesson (SEE other thread), I think distance is the problem.

Lets live in hope that somewhere nearer to you will join and bid.

Offer on this thread is for Becca to play, see above ;D
