To be honest, it scared me a bit when he was just staring at something that wasn't there!

Cat ghosts. Astro and Zoon see them all the time. They are used to them now and don't get as spooked

Thanks :) He seems much better today. I think he's got over whatever it was.

Hope he settles, sounds like something really spooked him, maybe in the stormy weather

No and the incident (whatever it was) happened in the day time when it was very still. I wondered if he had picked up a scent from somewhere. Very strange, they are sensitive, bless them :)

Well, it took ages to get Gobi up the stairs to bed last night and he wandered around before settling down for about an hour. This morning, he is still wary but more like his usual self. It's still a mystery. It sounds bad but he sometimes growls at the window cleaner so I wonder if he saw something out of the window

No, he was upstairs with Freya. There was only me and I couldn't see anything at the time that could have affected him. Thank you

He has come out from behind the sofa and I've sprayed pet remedy around but he still won't venture upstairs. He seems terrified. The litter trays and food are upstairs so I've brought the food down. I really can't work out what is worrying him. I've looked around and can't work it out, he was fine up until that one moment.

Something very peculiar is going on. About a hour ago, I was reading in the bedroom and heard growling. I looked and saw that Gobi was stood at the top of the stairs growling. Freya was in the attic with my other half.
Since then he has hidden behind the sofa and won't even be coaxed out with his favourite foods or treats which is very unusual.
I'm at a loss as to what has spooked him.
