I don't know where you live but some charities like Celia Hammond have their own vets and they offer treatment at a cheaper rate. It could be worth looking into.

No. They refer it out to a specialist clinic and they may willow two payments but that's it. But still means if he needs an op or meds going forward he won't be covered. Its our own fault. Should have covered him. just don't want him to suffer due to our oversight!!

As far as I know there is no insurance that covers pre=existing conditions.

That's what I feared. We dont have that kind of spare money. he's always been such a strong boy. We aren't too sure what to do

It is unfortunately. Basically Bruno went for his jabs and they noticed a grade 2 heart murour. Hes gone back two weeks later and its now a grade 4. We haven't insured him which is very stupid of us and now we are looking at £500 plus just to have some tests but as yet he hasn't had any treatment for it and hasn't needed to see a vet because of it. the vet won't remove the note that they have found it from their system.

Hi all

Can anyone recommend or suggest a pet insurance plan which will cover a pre existing condition which hadn't been treated for previously and he hasn't seen the vet specifically for?

Really need some help and advice.
