I can't be a registered charity as on my own doing this, but just took in 2 more in a terrible state.
Please look on Merli was going to be pts thread .

It's only me and using my spare room and stuff to rescue these cats,these two are terrified at the moment, so not sure when and if they would be able to,be rehomed .

I am running a sanctuary really for sick and senior cats.

So Sorry you feel that way as the auctions aren't for us they are for the rescue cats

Sorry the auction clock was delayed for you then quickly finished that can happen if you have an Internet connection problem delay where the page takes longer to load.
That sadly would also happen with the old forum system as well.

I watched the clock count down ok then it shut as soon as it hit 0

I see from your other post that you are thinking of staring your own sanctuary for the homeless babes
That's a wonderful thing to do

The countdown clock was definitely right, I was on 19 seconds when I pressed my final bid so it definitely didn't finish a minute early. Sometimes on ebay if my connection lags, it doesn't catch up with itself so looks as if it is counting down as normal but if you refresh the page it comes up with a different time - that might be what happened?

I had intended to just win one of the vouchers thinking that my fellow biddee would outbid me on the other one, but my internet connection is terrible so I bid on them both towards the end hoping to get one of them and I ended up winning them both - sorry other biddee

Countdown clock was fine for me but a couple of seconds out only

Must admit it took me ages to work out and just used minutes lol

However the site clock as opposed to auction countdown is a couple of minutes out

Well, it seemed to finish early with 1 minute left when it only took 10 seconds to get to my bid page , therefore there should have been at least 50 seconds for me to up my bid !

Ooooo not long now before our auction 2014 comes to an end Sunday 30th 8pm on the spot

Once again if we have lots of peeps bidding at the last few minutes I hope the server will cope lol it has thankfully each year so far

Hope everybody gets what they would like. There are sooo many lovely things in as usual thanks so much to our sponsors and auctioneers :D

If you do want some things it's best not to leave all Ya bids to the very last minute as if others are also bidding at the same time what Ya will get is the "you must bid higher" message. This means someone else has just got their higher bid in before you! Lol so you need bid even higher.

Tip - if you really want an item - best way is to try to put in a good higher bid ie not just pence higher at the end nearst to 8.00pm by the purrs clock as possible. Its a timing thing depending on if anyone else is also bidding on the same item and who gets there 1st nearest to 8pm.

Lol it's frantic, frustrating and fabulous fun
