Thank you all for your lovely comments. Now I have managed to remove the adverts I can read them. You are right, Millie is a tortie and White not a tabby, my previous cat was a tabby. I will post a pic of your late Silkie. She has a very strong likeness to Hebe, who is also beautiful.

stars-bright. You say Millie is a tabby in your first post. The cat I see in photos is a tortie and white like my Hebe.
Julie.

You can see she's an attentive Mum.  He's like a little phantom cat.    :Luv:

:wow: :wow: :wow:  My word - they're absolute smashers!!   :Luv2: :Luv2:  It never ceases to amaze me what absolutely beautiful cats we all share our lives with.  They come in all shapes, sizes, ages and colour combinations and yet are the most glorious celebration of feline delightfulness - and Comet and Millie illustrate exactly what I mean.   ;D ;D

Hello Stars_Bright - a very warm and welcoming Hello to you, Millie and Comet   :welcome:

How wonderful that you've given your two babies such a lovely home.  I', sure they will help to bridge the gap os losing your lovely tortoiseshell girl, and I daresay your Yorkie is delighted to be sharig his home again with feline companions.   ;D

Millie is teaching Comet what is acceptable and what isn't and the eye incident has been an unfortunate accident.  But of course hoping that his poorly eye improves steadily and quickly - doesnt sound like it's holding him back to be honest  :evillaugh:

Also sending positive thoughts for Millie's tummy troubles.

Welcome to Purrs, and I hope you find all sorts of useful things here and make new friends.

I would take lots of photos of them especially whilst Comet is a kitten.  It will give you lovely memories to look back on.  (And we love piccies here - hint hint  ;) :evillaugh:)

Hi, ten days ago we welcomed Mum, Millie an 11 month old tabby and her son, Comet 12 week old albino into out household. We already have a Yorkshire terrier who is 7 years old and used to cats. We previously had a loevly tortoiseshell who we had adopted at 10 months old and unfortunately died of renal failure a few weeks ago. This mum had been abandoned with her 4 kittens at the end on August and unfortunately she and her kitten have been moved around bybthe RSPCA quite a lot. However they are setlling in quite well apart from Millie's tummy problem which I will post about in another post. Comet is still trying to feed from Millie and has periods of stalking and pouncing on her, after a while she gets fed up and can get quite vicious with him, racking his head with her back legs. Comet has a nasty sore eye which I think has been caused by this and is under the vet for. But if we seperate them to stop them fighting they both get very distressed and cry until we let them back togther.
