So sad, for all concerned, but hopefully this little guy will soon get a new forever home with someone who will love and care for him as he deserves.

Hope also that his former owner can get himself the help he needs.

Hi Rajusmum, welcome to you, Rajum and Laksmi.

Sounds like you qualify perfectly as a new Purrs forum member - passionate about cats, and acting like a cat magnet to all and sundry  :evillaugh: :welcome: :welcome:

You'll find you aren't alone, in that respect.

Saw your post about the Turkish Van.  Poor little guy - he's a bonny cat.  Do you know his background - how he came to be on the streets?

Thanks everyone.  The Turkish Van belonged to an alcoholic man at the top of our street, who was sectioned. The cat ran away long before that happened, as the poor man couldn't even look after himself. I know he'd bought him in a local pub for £50 so he's not a full pedigree. He's truly a lovely cat, and I've got him really friendly now so he'd make a great house pet. x

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

Hi All,
I'm a new member in North Manchester. I've got two cute kitties of my own, Raju and Laksmi, both regular moggies and absolutely adorable and spoiled. And I'm always taking in local strays and trying to find them loving forever homes, so I thought this would be a good platform to do that, before I end up the mad cat woman with 100 plus cats.
Usually if I get a stray I get them neutered or spayed and try to find them some new parents. I love cats so much, and hate to see them roaming the streets, without someone to love them.
Stray cats seem to sense an easy target in me, and they just turn up, somehow knowing that they'll get an easy meal and a cuddle. My two aren't overly impressed by all this, I think they know they're onto a good thing..!
