this amazes me, but having seen bella with dd i would never underestimate a child cat bond, we've had lots of upset recently as dd has realised that everyone including me (her mummy) and herself will die at some point (a horrible concept when your 5). Whenever pippa is upset bella will just come and sit with her until shes calmed down, she just knows when pippa needs her and just appears, doesnt matter if i saw her minutes ago asleep on the bed. Shes also been know to run over to pips if shes fallen over and hurt herself to check if shes ok.

How fantastic is that cat.  It really does how loyal they are and what a strong bond there can be.  Really can't believe how it not only just charged in but the way it chased the dog off completely.  Brought a tear to my eyes it did

Yes I saw that too, what a great cat they have there.  I'm glad the child is making a good recovery and the cat is being treated to stardom.  She is a rescue cat as well which no doubt with help her feline friends find forever homes.

One of my cat's thought she was my chaperone so would follow me and sit on my lap when any men were around not letting them get close until she thought it was appropriate.  She was a better judge of character then me.  Yep she was a rescue too.

Maybe we need to redo the cats  signs in rescues, putting them over as protection operatives. :naughty:

I saw this this morning when someone also sent me a link - just incredible - the cat never even hesitated.  What a mess the dog made of that little lad's leg.  But how proud his Mum and dad must be of their Wonder-Cat.   :wow: :wow:
