we use AVID too. They are automatically registered at adoption from the Animal Shelter Manager software we use with the dual registration. Works out at about £3 per chip but we do buy in bulk.

All the chips we come across will change ownership from a rescue for free. I am not sure whether you need to be a registered charity for this but can check if you like xx
:) Please text CATS22 £5 to 70070 to feed a cat for a week :)

We use Avid. Very good to deal with. Dual registrations too although we keep all chips registered to us.

Just wondering which companies rescues use for microchipping their cats and which, if any, offer good deals to rescues?  I heard that some will do change of address/owner when the cat is adopted for free, is that right?
