No # etc is not an account but you write something about your pic in your account like their names and then put #CPBlackcats and it will go to that name like Sheilas did.

You can then I think do a search for #CPBlackcats and you should see all the entries

Now I have just got my tablet and may be asking you how to set up an account lol, its charging

Help!  I don;t know what I'm doing.  Have loaded on to Instagram account but need to share.  Forgive my stupidity but is the #CPBlackCats something to do with twitter?  I cannot find an instagram account with that name ............

Yayy it worked. When you get the "share" instruction you just type in the name of your cat, then a space, then #CPBlackCats , then hit "SHARE" and it pops up on the Cats Protection page! Done! Thanks Gill.

Ok I think this is how it works..............have you opened an accounnt?

If so upload the picture....it will have to be on your phone............and send it to # and name cp say.

So by the picture on your account you see Kuki for CP competion #name. maybe @#name....need to look on an account brb

tried to find instagram on ipad, there's loads of free apps but can't decide which one it is! Found it on my lappy though, uploaded through Google Play, which is linked to my android phone, not my ipad. The CPsite seems to suggest it can only accept entries with a hashtag note from an instagram account 

All of this is obviously beyond my feeble understanding, try as I may, I do not find a natural ability for this sort of thing, so here's my latest pic of the lovely Kuki from my iapd, trying her best to extract herself from the only collar I could fashion small enough to fit around her teen tiny neck. It's an elasticated one, not ideal I know but it will have to do until she's big enough to fit the snap release one.

I think you have to have the pick on your phone or tablet to be able to upload to instagram

But do I have to TAKE the picture with my phone/tablet or can I take it with my camera too and upload it via Instagram?

I'll have you know that it's as swanky as they come  but sadly purrhaps a bot too swanky for this crazy old cat lady    It's taken me an age to set up and log on.  I'm just useless at using it

Erm, I haven't used it myself, but yes - looks like you can only post them from a phone or tablet

OK so I know this is a very late response to your post  but I did look at this coz I got 3 black and 2 black & whites.  They are of course all drop dead gorgeous and I was very tempted to show em off.

Thing is I only got me swanky new Samsung smart phone some weeks ago and I'm not familiar with Instagram.  Do I take it that it only works with smart phones and cannot upload from my puter?  or am I being a plonker?
