Oh how I remember the transport run for this one, my inlaws being sent to Wales to meet Diddydawn and then me at Gretna and Bernie spent the night with us at the Clan Homestead and the I brought him up to Aberdeen to Elaine's loving care

In this I ended up moving to Aberdeenshire and had a new friend and got to see Bernie so a win win for us

Elaine and Graham, Millie and Rayne our thoughts are with you at this time and run free Bernie and find the darling Eva the Diva and have fun and there are a fair few Clan cats to keep you company to

Hi, some of you may remember Bernie.  Dawn rescued him from a railway track in North Wales and with some help from Liz and her family, he came to live with me in Scotland.  That was over 10 years ago now.
Almost 2 years ago Bernie, a mass was discovered in Bernies abdomen, we didnt treat this as my vet advised that it wouldnt help.  We didnt think he had long to go then but my scruffy little soldier kept very well up until recently.  His heart was giving in, we gave him meds for this and he responded well but the mass was growing and his weight was plumeting.  Over the last few weeks he has had terrible diarhoea (can never spell that bloody word).  We tried all we could to stop it but it just got worse.
We let him go today, he had no fight left and was very tired.
Bernie, here's to you mate, you were such a sweet, funny and scruffy little cat.  We loved you very much and will miss you always.
Rest now until we meet again xxxx
