I thought of him but think he might be too dominant, I have a rather bolshy bengal myself and in a multi cat house it can spell trouble

If you go onto the Purebliss Bengals Website on the homepage is a bit that says adult cats for adoption - he was still on there yesterday,  there is also an absolutely stunning young boy on the Bengal Forum at the moment - he was born last July.

oh you were so close by  :shy: she was rescued from a hoarder, really friendly and vocal. I was so tempted!!  :shify:

I had always had boys too, until little Evie (from SARA) arrived. My oldest boy went to the Bridge and we got a 2yr old boy Peanut, also a SARA cat, as company for my remaining 10year old. Their relationship is hit and miss and my 10yr old Nuggie is a little on the grumpy side  :-[ Then came Evie....she fits in with both my boys, is a flirt lol Nuggie accepts her, but i think he found it hard with Peanut (threat to throne, maybe?  :evillaugh:) ...but Nuggie (i found out) is grumpier than i ever knew lol
I hope you find your new bengalie soon!!  ;D

Male Bengals can be very territorial where as the females are very Bossy but from my experience not so territorial and I strongly recommend that you Do Not get an Ex Stud boy x

I will keep a look out for you Hun - I really hope that your cats can stand up for themselves because the Benglies can be so strong willed and the word "no" is not in their vocabulary - as Liz says introductions are the key factor - I have just introduced 2 Babies and am pleased to say that things went really well.  Just out of interest why are you set on it being a Boy Bengal?
Have you had a look on the Bengal Forum because I know there are a lot of cats on there at the moment ?

 :welcome: :welcome: :welcome:

...oh my! if you'd posted before christmas, I know that S.A.R.A at Redcar had an absolutely beautiful Bengal. Unfortunately for you, she has gone to her forever home just recently  :)
I took Christmas Hampers for the Cats & Dogs and I was ushered "to have a look" ....knowing that everytime this has happened I have taken a cat home with me (I've have 2 from there)  :shify: :shify:
I was most tempted  :-[ and OH even got quite attached to some of the other residents......I try to be sensible but how long that will last is debateable  :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

We use the old time out technique when any of ours ae getting a bit to big for their paws, in our case I ground them with the house cats and the wrong side of the door for about an hour, punshment indeed for my indoor/outdoor crew

hi :)

i have thought long and hard about it, my boys are so laid back they dont mind newbies at all, and its always expected that rescues may have a difficult time adjusting, but with love and patience i hope to overcome any issues that may arise. I definately welcome any advice going spare!

 :thanks:

I have one rescue bengal Miss Porsche and she lives in a very multi household made up of pedigree, domestic and ferals and their pets our 3 Border Collies

Careful introductions are the key, some CP branches have Bengals in and as Sheryl says Bengal forum is the place to start, I know Sheryl was a great help when I got my rescue bengal

i have seen zeb and hes just gorgeous - although he seems to have disappeared from the site  :-:

my main concern is the distance - im in stockton on tees which makes home checks and meet and greets a bit difficult - i am willing to travel though, there does not seem to be anywhere closer to home. I can however provide references from the cat rescue where i adopted my youngest 2
from and my vet will tell you mine are healthy, neutered and a bit spoilt lol

Oh my 5 bengals! i have been advised by a few people that bengaks dont do well in multi cat households - but i guess yours prove that theory incorrect!

Have a look on the Bengal Cat forum in the Rehoming section, also I know that Bengal Welfare have an adorable 5 year old Blue Marbled Bengal called Zeb who is desperate for a new home - let me know if you would like more details

I am slave to 5 Bengals and 2 moggies so if you would like any advice give me a shout -

:welcome: to Purrs, you are fulfilling my dream by adding a bengal to your brood!  :naughty: We have a few bengal owners on here so you're not alone in your bengal passion!

Have you tried your local rescues to see if they have any bengals waiting for a home, they might also have one on their waiting list to come in so defo worth checking with them all

http://www.catchat.org/adoption/durham.html

Might also be worth having a look on a dedicated bengal forum as there might be a cat not currently in rescue but that his owners need to find a new home for.

I have five rescue moggies and would love to offer a home to a male bengal. Im in the Teesside areaa but willing to travel

i can get references from the rescue where i adopted my two younger boys from and also happy to provide details of my vet so it can be verified that my cats are in the best of health! they are neutered and three of them are housecats, we have a three storey house with a garden which they use under supervision.

Although i have not owned a bengal before i have been doing my research and speaking to breeders and owners of bengals about the ups and downs of bengal ownership!

If you are looking for a five star home for your cat please feel free to ask me any questions and i can provide pics of my cat family so you can see they are all well and healthy
