Glad to hear this is now sorted.

 I'll move the thread now.
Please consider the harder to home cats in rescue.

The male has had initial vaccinations and boosters in the past but she doesn't know where his book is and they are not up to date and the female has never had anything. No known health problems with either of them. Her husband is *extremely* controlling with money and logs onto online banking everyday and makes her account for every penny that has been spent hence them not being up to date with vaccinations and female not spayed :-(

The female cat has been hit/kicked in the past  :'(  She is apparently a sook (I don't know what this means, is it a Scottish term??) but she can be a little wary of men.

The lady will know by the end of next week when the cats would need to move as she is sorting things out with women's refuge at the minute. Such a devastating situation for the lady, her children and the cats  :(

Lottie, I may have a willing fosterer who may be able to help but would need a few more details and know the 'when'.  I can't see them doing it indefinitely however but for a few weeks - 2/3 mths should be ok.

Hello,

I am trying to help a lady from another group I am in. She is in a domestic violence situation and has finally plucked up a huge deal of courage and is currently speaking with Women's Aid etc to try and get a space in a refuge for herself and her 3 children until she can get on her feet and get a flat.

She has 2 cats who she will not be able to take with her to a shelter. One is an older male (neutered) who is great with other cats and the other is a 3 year old female who is not spayed who is also good with other cats. Please don't jump on this lady for the female not being spayed, she has kept making appts but her husband keeps cancelling them and refusing to give her the money to pay to get it done and he has full control of all of the household money  :(

The lady loves her cats dearly and she is wondering with the 3 year old still being young whether she would be best to find her a completely new home as opposed to having her fostered until she can get sorted and in a position to have the cats back.

Is there anyone that would be able to help with fostering when the time comes? She's really worried about the cats and I'm concerned that she will stick around with him if she cannot get something sorted for the cats.

Obviously her trying to get refuge space etc is all having to be kept completely under the radar of her husband for her own safety and so I am unable at the minute to give a date of when the fostering would need to start but I am desperate to help her find somewhere for her cats.

Would we be able to sort out a neutering voucher at all for the female cat to either make it cheap or ideally free?

Please please please if anyone can help me to help this lady and her two cats let me know.

Lottie xxx
