 ;D ;D

Pickford's whiskers have arrived safely, very well wrapped in purple silk and in the Lesley Ann Ivory tins, and I can vouch that they are an extremely fine pair of whiskers indeed, as is the claw bit!!!

Humbug is extremely jealous of them  ;D ;D and has told me she agrees with Gemini's posting in the Cat Chat diaries - ho hum - must be a girl furbabe thing!

Thank you very much indeed Pickford, and thanks to your furry pals  and the folks for the other gift as well

Have a lovely, lovely Christmas ;D ;D

Hi Pickford

I am very excited!!  :wow:
My partner tells me that a great big box arrived this morning from Cat Chat Towers...I have forbidden him to open it until I am there tonight!
I will take very good care of your whiskers Pickford - I will treasure them, and thank you so much for donating them to be auctioned for Ron's needy puss cats ;D

Will post when I have opened the parcel!!!

Hi Gill!
Just to say that my whiskers and stuff were posted off yesterday.   I saw the box being parcelled up and being taken off down the garden path anyway, and they came back without it, so I think that's means they're on their way to you!   Look after them Gill - I'm glad they've gone to a good home!

Brilliant stuff!  ;D
Well done Gill, you know this makes you pretty much officially bonkers don't you? No one down here can believe my whiskers even made a quid, let alone over thirty - but we showed 'em didn't we!!!  I'll get the folks to wrap them up real careful an put it all in one of those bubbly envelopes, (one that the Colonel hasn't stuck his claws in). Crumbs, this was all so exciting wasn't it? Well done Gill and Tan - and Hooray! for Ron's Cats!!

Hey Devilish - I never thought of that!
But what if someone won it and came here to CC Towers and I was out!!!??? I'm not out much though, not these days, too cold. Maybe next time, or maybe I could get a 'visit to CC Towers' into the next catchat raffle - now that's a thought.  I'll work on the folks for that one. They'd have to do some housework though, or everyone on this forum'd know what a tip the place is!! Oh.... umm, I shouldn't have said that should I, they'll know that already now. Crumbs! :shy:

Whoever gets my whiskers won't be disappointed!

Only hours to go, this is exciting! I'm off to see if I'm allowed to bid on something before it's too late...

Lots of love and Force-6-on-the-richter-scale-Headbutts :wow:

Ooooo Pickers you are soooo handsome.  :catlove:

Now young Rio here says he really would love to just how big your whiskies and you nail bitty is compared to his. So he has given up his fish money ( he was saving up for a new goldfish for the pond in the summer after he ate the last one  :fish:  :ooops:)
He said he could wait a bit longer for a fishsy and wants to bid
£25  :tongue 2:

I think we leave it as it is unless Pickford decides to split the the two tins cos everyone bid on the whiskers and the claw was just an ad on present for the winning bidder  ;D

Maybe the winning bidder could have the whiskers and the second highest could have the claw!  Just an idea that way Ron gets almost twice as much and.  Just an idea!

Oooo Pickford how about making the claw and its tin a second lot? Your whiskers have been so popular....

Hey how about a bit of fur too? Could you arrange to leave a tuft somewhere, do you think?

It's going to turn into a build-your-own-Pickford lot, this is

Re: Pair of Pickford's Whiskers (in a cat tin) - raising the stakes!
« Reply #37 on: December 03, 2006, 20:17:52 PM »
I dunno if this is allowed, but I'm raising the stakes on my Whiskers-in-a-tin item - I was cleaning my paws the other day and the outside bit of one of my claws fell off... you know, the outside bit that comes off when you grow a new inside bit?

Well anyway, so if you're bidding, it's not just for a pair of my finest whiskers in a tin, but my latest old-claw in a smaller tin too.  There! That's them in the photo!  (that's if I've managed to upload the photo!!)
So whoever wins this gets the lot... well they don't actually get me, (or the juicer behind me, sorry!)

This is fun - Ron's cats are soo lucky having all these people helping them! :)
Love and insistent headbutts from
