he's sitting next to me on a big fluffy blanket with a full belly and flea and worm free.

What a lovely image!

Welcome to Purrs, I replied to your other thread but the forum ate my post. :naughty:

Well done on giving all these animals a second chance, I'm certain the newbie will settle down once he realises he has his forever home.

You can't change the world by rescuing one cat, but for that one cat you are changing its world.

Hello all.
I have posted elsewhere asking for advice but thought it only right that i come here too.
I have had my beautiful cat "mouse" for a few years now. She was a stray near where my friend used to live and she was a pitiful sight. She used to just lie in the same spot whatever the weather and her fur was matted and she was infested. I already had an old lady cat at the time and had just rescued a dog, so just fed her when i visited my friend and took some flea treatment and a comb to make her more comfortable. When my lovely old cat died I just couldn't leave the stray so took her home. She is the most adorable girl ever, she's so placid and very loving and vocal. The only thing with her is she will not use a litter tray so i have to clean alot of piddle up, she prefers to toilet outside but if her routine is disrupted she'll go indoors  :-[
So last weekend we got ourselves a starved, emaciated stray. purely by chance walking somewhere i never walk there he was, on the pavement, a skeleton with fur. I carried him home and he's sitting next to me on a big fluffy blanket with a full belly and flea and worm free. This special treatment has left him thinking he's a Lord
Anyway, look forward to getting to know some of you.
