Well, says it all really
My son opened the kitchen window wide up and before I got the chance to get there, honey saw her opportunity and woooshhhhh  She was straight in the back garden! As I haven't got the girls chipped yet, I was worried something like this might happen, so this morning when the kids were still asleep, I put collars with name/address tags on. I took the metal clips off and replaced with easy snap bands (the dental brace types), just in case.
So I calmly walked outside, not rushed as I knew it would spook her and called her over. She trotted in for a greeting and snuggled against my leg but as I went to pick her up, the big tom that frequents the garden appeared and that was it, honey refused to be picked up and she ran off  I ran upstairs and scanned the neighbor's gardens and saw she was next door, so popped round. As I knocked on the door, alarm bells went off as I could hear a loud cat fight. Running into the garden, I was surprised to see honey beating 10 shades of cr@p out of this tom twice her size. Fur flying every where, spare of the moment, I shouted really loud and it broke them off, the tom ran away. Honey's heckles were still up and she was still in fight mode. I sat down and popped her fav treats out and talked to her calmly. She came round and wanted a cuddle but as I stood up, she flips out again. I hate holding a cat like this but I had to grab the scruff of her neck firmly and carry her home like she was a flea ridden feral.
Once home and Rori had greeted her, she calmed down. She's now washing her self and looking some what proud. Whilst I'm looking like i've been attacked by a miffed off lion lol
Kids huh
