There is no change today either, she will only half heartily lick at her food and has refused milk this morning.
It's like she has given up :'(

She is tucked up in her very big fleecy igloo with a snuggle pad and hot water bottle.
Was up with her till 4 am.

Add to the fact I have really bad sciatica all down my left side, in particular the back of my knee and can hardly walk or get comfy. 3 strong pain killers aren't doing anything either.
Roll on 2013 , 2012 is rubbish !

I was hoping for a more positive reaction to the steroid injection. Maybe she's further along than the vet first thought.  :'(

I'm so very sorry, this is just awful after barely saying Goodbye to poor Smartie.

There is no change today , just hardly any blood , but she is hardly weeing either.
She isn't eating much either , just drinking .
Have given her some milk which she loves and has had that , but not much food at all.
She is very quiet and subdued.

Smartie was a lot better after his steroid injection and he ate well till the last day.

Will have to see how she is tomorrow, but she is looking like she has aged overnight  :'(

Still up as Sophie does  not seem at all well tonight , i think it must be the steroid injection . she just doesnt seem to be with it ! :scared:

Smartie had one and it made him hyper , Sophie is completely the opposite, she has gone very lethargic .

I am dreading going to bed now , i hope she will be ok .

Took Sophie back to the vets tonight to see what's going on as she is no better and it was blood clots she was weeing out !
He has scanned her whilst i was with her and watched the scan , it is definitely bladder cancer , you could see all the growths !

She has had a steroid injection and if it doesn't work in 48 hours to help her ,there is nothing else he can do .
If it does help , she goes back for another depending how she is next week , but he said she only has 2-3 weeks  :'(

Sending lots of     tro you and Sophie.

The main thing is whether she is in pain, although losing a lot of blood cannot be good I think

I thought there was a bit of improvement yesterday, but backwards again today  :(
There was blood all over the kitchen floor again this morning and she is weeing blood again , also there have been bits in it that the vet thinks may be polyps.

Not sure where we are going now , but it's not good

Oh I do hope it's polyps.

Spoke to the vet , he said to carry on till Monday with the meds.
If no better, start steroid injection depending on how she is.

To be honest, i don't think it will work either.

I thought the last 2 days there wasn't as much blood , in fact hardly any , then this morning there was a fair bit more !

She is also very thin , even though she has never been a fat cat like Winston is , she does look poor .

I think there is going to have to be a decision made in the next few days  :'(

Not sure whats going on with Sophie now.
There is a lot less blood , it's just watery now , but she still isn't weeing properly. It's like dribbles all over the tray inside and out , and she has weed on the old sofa in the kitchen, the floor and in her bed , which she has never done.
Nots sure if she is incontinent as well now !?

Had to go to London today back and feet were  hurting the last few days and now  they are both killing me .
I had already got the tickets , so had to go really.
It was very  expensive  after discussing it , totally out of my price range , so a waste of a day and back to the drawing board and finding somewhere else to get it done.
Then had Pauline meet me off the train to help a cat in need ! All sorted now and safe , at the vets tomorrow as its got a really sore mouth and is also unspayed so having that done as well.

Just sat down since 6.30 am ! I never do mornings either unless necessary !!
I am also washing all the stuff Sophie has wet !!
