I did google Robotic cat syndrome but couldnt find anything, I imagine with it being a newly discovered condition it is harder to know what you are dealing with :-[

I hope hes ok poor little blighter :(

Sadly Rileys results are in and it is not good, I will be picking up his injections for the weekend tomorrow and he will be making his final journey next week when his daddy comes home as he is stable but I can see a deterioration in him but still eating and using a litter tray

Well after me worrying that he would need a trip to the vet as he hadn't had a pooh for several days and mentioned it when I was there this morning with Xian feral for her Program injection and on arriving home 9 inches of wonderful solid pooh

Robotic cat syndrome is a neurological disease and is pretty much a new thing but the Head of Glasgow vet school is doing research and will get Rileys blood results to see if she has anything that we can try but he is happy where he is so we are happy at the moment to

Have to say I have just had the dreaded conversation with my OH and as he is away for 10 days he is aware that I will make the right decision for our boy as and when because I will not let him suffer but currently he is helping his Daddy in the upstairs study as he is home for a meeting tomorrow and then away

I know that the results will give us an answer but I will not let him be an experiment if it is Robotic cat syndrome he is a happy feral at the moment and that is how he will stay no more poking and prodding just his injections and the vets are happy for me to get the painkiller and AB's without repeat visits which just stress him out

No lab results back but its looking more like Robotic cat syndrome which is a neurological disease and has no cure :(

Well he was awake when I went in this morning has has eaten overnight he has always been nocturnal

He had Metacam and A/B injections yesterday and will be getting more from the vet as its the only way to keep him going so far till we establish what is the problem

I think in my heart that it is terminal but will keep fighting for him as long as he wants to stay with us :(

Riley is still very ill but we have some more Metacam injections andhe has a Betamox injection with Metacam for tomorrow and its just a case of moving him around and making sure he is warm and comfy, 2 heatpads in 2 locations several sheepskin rugs and a lovely bit of really expensive pure wool carpet his daddy got him as a 10 x12 offcut, shame it doesn't fit any of our rooms as its to small but is nice underfoot in the upstairs study

Test results are due back next week and we will then see what we are going to do as he is still eating and drinking and loves to be tucked in to his bed at night so still has quality of life but is in pain

I hate January Even Oscar (aged 7 and healthy at the moment) spends longer tha usual asleep  Doesn't stop him eating though

Its a rare neurological disease ans the muscles sort of never relax they get stiffer and stiffer so we are doing manipulation and heatpads

Fortunately for us the Lovely Lynn - Codys Mum has given us the name of a specialist who is at the Dick vet in Glasgow so we have asked for results to go to her if it is that

Well Riley has one of 3 things but we have sent off further blood tests to Glasgow - it could be Tetnus, Toxoplasmosis or Robotic Cat Syndrome so we are now treating for all 3 and in the car on the way home I got a full bladder and the biggest pooh I have ever seen him do and on coming home he wanted food and is standing better, he is in his own room so no chance of anybody catching anything and the rest of the Clan are hale and hearty and by Saturday will have a vets bill of £850.00 but I like beans on toast, eggs on toast and cereal !!!!!

Have just had to rush Riley feral to the vet not sure what is wrong but vets did think she found a mass on his tummy so he is being knocked out, xrayed and blood tested

He is only 3 bless his little feral tabby socks and I am really worried because he hates being away from his bat cave but he is still eating and using a grit box so will know more when I pick him up at 4pm :scared:
